Nieves M Osaba

Nieves was recommended to me by a friend and practicing attorney when I found myself sinking into the abyss of family court hell. The father was lying, hiding money and pointing the finger at me. The court made me feel like I was the liar and had no reason to be there. Nieves stepped in took ov...er and things changed the very first court appearance. She argued all the points need to prove the fraud the father committed on court and his own children. She was so great that the defense (father & attorney) approached us to settle on all matters before it went before the judge. She was able to get me over $25,000 in back support and more then tripled the monthly support!!!!!!! More then I had ever hoped or dreamed of!!! This ordeal went on for close to a year and Nieves NEVER asked or more money after the initial (very modest) retainer. It was not until the settlement was reached did she bring up the issue of more money. This goes to show her true professionalism and integrity! She was there for me every step of the way, always communicated with me, even late at night and on weekends. She fraught tirelessly for me and my two girls and it was and will continue to be a live changing ordeal for all of us! I would have been closed out, left to struggle for 11 more years if not for Nieves. To say thank you just does not seem to convey my gratitude!!! She is a great person, great lawyer and worth every penny!! Thank you for everything you have changed my life!!!!!

My brother was actually a client of hers, and to say she is a poor attorney is putting it mildly. I would not recommend this attorney to anybody. She never put up a fight in court or tried to argue my brothers side of the story. She was lazy and never touched bases with my brother to make sure he kne...w what was going on or to practice for the following court date. She's a poor excuse for her profession and should be dis barred.
