Herb Chavers helped us resolve all California trust issues for two successor trustees (family members) located outside the state, so all communications were by phone and email. My initial impression when I interviewed Herb by phone was that he was knowledgeable, was able to clearly explain the issue...s to be dealt with, and open to discussion about his background and fee structure. In our case, there were real estate issues to be resolved in addition to all the other trust issues. Heirs of the trust were located in several states. Herb guided the trustees through the process. Where there were actions that the trustees could execute on their own behalf, he gave us clear instructions, which reduced our legal fees.
