I wet to court and ended up having to pay almost $900 to the court with a $150 for public defender fee. I was told that your total you would end up paying is $900 that is the total and that is what you would owe the court. She failed to mention that you in fact haft to pay that $150 fee for my serv...ice to central collections, AND that you have 20 days to get your case reviewed to wave that fee for me! as it states in your miranda rights "If you can not afford an attorney one will be appointed to you by the court of law" ext. so on the back of this paper that I was given and didn't even think to look on the back of it to know that you need to go to or call to wave this fee. So she failed to mention that this fee is separate from what you owe to the court and that you would need to pay that to for my service. So I think that she did not tell me this because she wanted to get paid $150 for "representing" me.
