Dear Potential Client,
Let me introduce myself: I am an advocate for consumers and small businesses. I have never represented a corporate interest, nor will I ever do so. I am practicing law today as a result of the tragic and unnecessary loss of my 61 year old mother as a result of HMO abuse and corporate greed. I never want to see another person lose a loved one because of a mega-corporation's unfettered greed.
I have worked for patient and consumer rights for over 20 years. In 1996, I campaigned with Ralph Nader and California Nurses Association to pass Proposition 216: The California Patient Protection Act. It would have protected patients from the greed of HMO's.
Also In 1996, I testified before Congress' House Judiciary Committee on the issue of patients' rights to adequate compensation following injuries from medical malpractice. I was the only consumer to do so.
Since 2006, I have watched the destruction of the economy by the mega banks and their criminal affiliates. I have talked to untold numbers of consumers about the devastation the financial meltdown has caused to average Americans. As a result, my advocacy efforts have evolved into the areas of debt relief for consumers through bankruptcy, foreclosure defense, and debt settlements. No consumer should have to stand alone against the "Too Big To Fail" Banksters when trying to save a home.
I represent clients on family law matters, including divorce, legal separations, child custody and support, spousal support, and domestic violence restraining orders.
I also help clients when faced with difficult situations such as obtaining guardianships and conservatorships for loved ones, as well as probate matters. I strongly recommend that everyone have a well-crafted estate plan including a will and a living trust that will take care of their loved ones if something should happen to them.
When my Mom died (before I was a lawyer), she didn't have an estate plan. As a result, the probate of her estate lasted 10 years. The County took all of the 12 properties she owned, and everything else she had. No one in my family was able to recover anything of hers. My Mom's life's work went to the government. It was devastating to watch the pieces of her life being carted away by strangers. Don't let that happen to your family! A revocable living trust with the additional elements of an proper estate plan will protect your family.
As a small business owner for 30 years, I love to help small businesses grow and flourish by providing small business consulting services. I have been self-employed since 1983 and was raised in a self-employed family. I know how much hard work it takes to make a small business successful. It can be even more successful with the right legal advice that protects the owner's hard work from potential lawsuits by heading off legal problems before they start. I would love to help you protect your business!
If you are ever faced with being charged with a crime, I'm here to help you. Even if you are innocent of the charges, the system can destroy your life if you do not have good legal representation. If you are faced with a criminal charge, it can often be resolved without you even having to go to court. Prosecutors must be forced to prove their case against the Defendant and must do so without violating a Defendant's Constitutional Rights. Its my job to make sure your rights are protected at all stages of the process.
I handle civil litigation matters, contract disputes, real estate issues, personal injury cases and other types of civil litigation. My practice is specifically designed to be able to provide the average American with the legal services they will most likely need as they go through life.
Lastly, I work hard to develop long-term relationships with my clients. I want "life-time" clients, not "one-time" clients. By that I mean that I want my firm to be the go-to legal resource for clients and their families. Our Motto says it all, "Our Reputation is Our Future".
All consultations are free and my clients are urged to call if they have a legal question, before they make major decisions, sign contracts, etc. Problems are much easier (and much less expensive) to prevent than they are to fix after the deal is done! Call me first and let's talk. l look forward to hearing from and working with you!

I am only a third of the Way through my process. So far, so great. She has let me pay on my own schedule. Of course nothing can be done until it's fully paid. But in no way shape or form is she pushing me to hurry up and pay. That has been positively wonderful. After my initial consultation with her,...

I liked the fact I never felt rushed. My questions were always answered. She guided us through one of the most difficult decisions my husband and I had to make regarding our house. She went in detail to explain everything. I would definitely recommend her, and I actually did!!

"Linda is an outstanding attorney. As a graduate Max Gardner's Bankruptcy Bootcamp, she is not only extremely skilled in bankruptcy law but she is extremely skilled in all of the litigation that may arise during a bankruptcy. Linda isn't afraid to take on the banks, the mortgage companies, and the debt collectors in court on behalf of consumers just like you. She has the track record to prove it! Linda's reputation in her practice area is sterling. I personally know another bankruptcy attorney who was faced with her own crushing debt that would trust no other local attorney but Linda to handle her case because she wanted the absolute best representation.
