The Best Lawyer EVER!!!!!!!!

Honestly Sharon J. Brunner, saved me in very many ways, mentally, emotionally, and in the court room. I had the pleasure of having Mrs. Brunner represent me for a criminal matter, although the situation was scary and stressful, Sharon and her staff put my mind at ease. They explained exactly how th...ings would work in my situation in the court room, what different types of outcomes may occure in court, how much the cost would be for their services, what type of payment arrangements that could be made, what her plan was to get my case handled, and also gave me numbers and an e-mail to contact her with at anytime, with any concerns or questions I may have during this process. I was always informed of the dates and times of my court hearings, even if I did not need to be present, and the times I did need to be present the office staff would call me the day before to remind me to be there at court on time and dressed to impress, so the judge would know I was giving the up most respect to the court room, and even if Sharon had other cases to handle that day and I was not present for the hearing, she always made sure her staff contacted me before the end of the day, that same day, so I knew what the outcome was of my case during the hearing that day. I honestly do not know who these people are talking about that have wrote these bad reviews about Mrs. Brunner, but they are deffinatly not talking about the same attorney I paid for, and the out come of my case was way better than I had even expected, I was very discouraged frustrated and scared, but Mrs. Brunner did the best job ever!!! I would pay her a million dollars, if I had it, just to say Thank You. I have reffered many people to her since my case, and continue to do so till this day, because she is the real deal, and dose not play around in that court room, this is her Career and her name and reputation is on the line, and she would never want it tarnished, she is a hard working honest woman who is great at her job, knows what she is doing, and gives it to you straight, no lies, no games, just TRUTH. In situations like these thats what a person needs the Honest to God TRUTH!!! Her staff is expected to get things done and to be courtious and professional to all of her clients... and she always made that very clear (which is where the differnt contact numbers and e-mail address came into play that she provided me with, because she can't always be there in the office, and she only knows what her clients inform her of.) so she asked me to let her know if I ever had any problems, because her staff was a reflection of her and her office, and how she expects them to be just as professional and hard working as she is to her clients. So as far as I know Sharon has her staff well aware of her no tolerance policy when it comes to mistreatment or misinforming clients. Which is why I find it hard to believe that someone had such a bad experiance with Mrs. Brunner.... and if that was true... why did this person stay with Mrs. Brunner and not change Lawyers?..... I'm not buying it!!!!!....At All!!!! Like I said people ...."THE BEST LAWYER EVER!!!!!!!"

Don’t trust this office

I subbed Ms. Brunner off my case since 03/2022 and I am yet to receive my file. Even though I have requested it multiple times. Every time I call or go in person, I am told that there is no one to help me. I recently found out that none of my orders were filed with the court even though I was billed ...for the preparation. My case was mishandled from the beginning and now I am still having a hard time with getting the court to help me protect my children due to the misrepresentation. Sometimes we blindly trust the attorneys because we think they know the court system but then end up screwed at the end a free spending so much money. The only time I ever got updates on my case was when I would speak to Jeantte but unfortunately I was told she hasn’t been with this office since 06/2022. I regret ever hiring this office

Unreliable

Hired this lawyer for a custody battle. Never once met in person or even spoke with her. Handled everything through her paralegal who never had answers had to pay to tell the paralegal then pay for her to relay to Sharon then pay again to have it relayed back to me. Nothing was handled unless I calle...d repeatedly or else we would have missed deadlines. I voiced my concerns of these issues with the paralegal Stephanie and she just stated she was sorry I felt that way. Then conveniently I got a bill stating they wanted more money. Which it's funny because like I said we NEVER met or spoke to Sharon. I personally hired her because my husband's co-worker was using her at that time and we had to go to court so unexpectedly we didn't know any lawyers and just ran to the first one.. BIG MISTAKE.

I am sorry that you feel my staff and I did not handle your case up to your expectations, my goal is to work hard on every case to produce favorable results. It is my policy to meet with every client before court appearances so that I can better represent the client. There are few exceptions to this policy when it is impossible to do so, such as when a client retains me too close to a court hearing or if I am engaged in multiple trials. Appointments are scheduled frequently based on the need for the appointment or by the clients’ request. I understand going through a custody case or divorce is tough and emotional, and I pride myself and my staff on being empathetic. Your allegations that deadlines were only met through your constant reminders is inconsistent with my practices. Cases are driven by deadlines, and due to the importance of these deadlines there are numerous safety measurements put into practice to ensure deadlines are met. Unfortunately, due to client/attorney confidentiality, even if I knew your true identity, I am not able to discuss your concerns on the review forum. I apologize if you feel you were referred to someone who did not fit your personal needs. If there is anything I can to do to reconcile these concerns, please call my office and let the receptionist know that it is regarding this review and I will make sure to put you at the top of my call list. Thank you for your review, I appreciate you taking time to give your feedback. - Sharon Brunner

Nightmare on Sand Street Victorville, CA

Found attorney in yellow pages under a more seasoned attorney's name. This was very confusing and not very upfront advertisment. Paralegal quoted wrong amount for case, it ended up being 30% more than quoted. Attorney missed first court case had a colleague fill in but failed to inform who that was. ...Office staff said case was dismissed found out that was not true. Office staff then said the name of client whose case was dismissed (breaching confidentiality) and said that the names were similar. Attorney referred to come to the office on a day the office was closed for a holiday.Told to come pick up case file. Came to office and case file with attorney waited forever and attorney delayed in a town far away. Another wasted day awaiting attorney's promised return and a no-show from attorney. On a court day the attorney was in LA (80 miles away) and came late to court so a bench warrant was issued for clients non-appearance and this information was never related personally had to find it out online by reading case notes found out on a Saturday and spent all weekend stressed out. Attorney acted like this was no big deal. Attorney does not return phone calls even though you go to office and request staff to have her call. Blames office staff and claims they did not give her the message. Never kept informed of case had to find out all information online by reading court case information online. Attorney rejected an offer without consulting client, (against practice standards). Again learned this online not from attorney. What are the legal fees for? Case closed six months ago but got call from attorney that victim requesting restitution. To avoid more court agreed to pay, Notified less than one week before due, dropped off check Thursday afternoon received call on Friday at 4PM that they cannot take a personal check. Go to bank ran back & office doors locked with cars in back & no answer. Go to ofice 8 am Monday doors locked. About 8:05 office staff trying to open door. Get out of car and front door is still locked. Called attorney on cell phone and she does not respond. Ended up going to court to pay the restitution after going to mutliple windows and ended up missing work. What a nighmare! OMG do not use this attorney first read the other reviews seriously.... With this practice it is all about the money. Poor communication no return phone calls. Read the other reviews this is a practice pattern.

Worst Legal office ever

There were times that Sharon could not be in court for my case. She would send other people to cover that wouldn't know anything about my case. I would call her office to get info on my case and the paralegals would never follow up, which in turn would make me have to call again. I was charged eve...ry time for their inefficiency. I had Sharon as my attorney from 2009-2013. During that time, I had at least 10 different paralegals. I would have to explain my case every time. I would be charged every time for that. One paralegal over charged us several thousand dollars. When I would call to question the bill, I would get the run around and an "We'll get back to you". Every time I turned around, they wanted more money. They would threaten me with dropping my case if i didn't pay the full amt at once. 3 Months ago, I moved. My paperwork was in storage. I called asking for my divorce decree so I could buy a house. I called everyday for a month. I was charged for every phone call. They never gave me the paperwork. I was unable to buy a house. Then, after 2 months, they called us everyday to sign paperwork so that my court date could be released for another client. After about 3 weeks, I finally called back and asked if they were calling regarding the paperwork I had asked for 3 months prior. I explained that I was not important to them, they weren't important to me. That was when they filed paperwork stating conflict of interest, breakdown of communication made it unreasonably difficult for the attorney to represent me…… The breakdown is that she would never have answers for me. Would promise to call for teleconference and would never follow through. I never knew what was going on, and when I complained, I was being difficult.
