Seven years of fighting, The Attorney Who Helped Make My Family Whole Again

After a seven year custody battle, I can finally say my case is finished. Looking back on everything that happened, I truly believe Sharon Brunner was a godsend. Before finding Sharon, I went through three other attorneys. Unfortunately, those experiences were frustrating. Instead of really listenin...g to my story, they seemed to see a desperate father and the money they could make from the situation. They would promise they could win, but in the end it often felt like they were pushing toward settling instead of truly fighting for my family. By the time I found Sharon, I was mentally exhausted. I had reached a point where I felt defeated by a system that seemed unfair, and I honestly felt like giving up. Fighting for years takes a toll. These kinds of cases are not just about legal strategy, they test your patience, your stamina, and your mental toughness. Sharon helped change that. From the very beginning, she listened. She didn’t sugarcoat anything, but she was honest and straightforward about what needed to happen. When I felt like quitting, she helped lift me up and reminded me that these cases are about staying patient, staying focused, and staying strong. My situation was complicated. My children’s mother moved them to California while I live in Missouri, and California ended up taking jurisdiction over the case. Despite the distance and the challenges that come with an interstate custody situation, Sharon stayed determined and focused. Using her determination, the facts of the case, and most importantly the truth, she fought for my family. In the end, everything we requested from the court was granted, and after years of fighting my family is finally whole again. The way I ended up hiring Sharon is actually a story in itself. I was in California for an ex parte hearing and at the time I was represented by a different attorney. While sitting in the courtroom waiting for my case, I noticed another attorney working on a case ahead of mine. I didn’t know who she was at the time, but the way she handled herself immediately stood out. She was confident, professional, and clearly prepared. Watching her that morning made me realize I needed an attorney like that representing me. After the hearing I was given paperwork I needed to file. I accidentally got in the wrong filing line. I was in the where paralegals submit paperwork for upcoming hearings. Two individuals in front of me were talking about the attorneys they worked for, and one of them had nothing but great things to say about Mrs. Brunner. They had no idea anyone else was listening. I sat on a bench outside the filing office waiting for the paralegal, so I could ask which firm they worked for and get the office information. At the time I still didn’t realize that the attorney I had noticed earlier that morning in the courtroom was Sharon. It wasn’t until later, after I hired her and finally met her in person, that I realized the attorney I had been watching that day was Sharon. Looking back now, there were simply too many things that lined up that day for me not to believe it was a sign from above. What makes Sharon different is her character. The best way I can describe her is that she is fiercely loyal to her clients and relentless when it comes to doing what is right. At the same time, she genuinely cares about the best interests of the children, and she will tell you the truth even if it’s not necessarily what you want to hear. After everything we went through over the last several years, I don’t just see Sharon as my attorney anymore, she feels like part of my family now. Because of her dedication and hard work, my family is whole again and most importantly my daughter is safe. If you are looking for a family law attorney, especially in a difficult custody case or an interstate situation, I cannot recommend Sharon Brunner enough. She fought for my family when it mattered most, and for that I will always be grateful and deeply in debt to her.

The Best High Desert Family Attorney and Team

I normally do not write reviews as I believe they all are fluffed or altered in a way but as a Fathwr figure g for equality within the family court system here in California I can guarantee and assure whoever reads this this review is genuine and from my heart. Mrs. Brunners by far is the best High D...esert Family Attorney there is. Within my 14 years of fighting for equal custody for my children I have had over 6 Attorneys all who were only there for the financial aspect of aiding me. Mrs Brunners was hired by myself on or about June of 2020 and has been my counsel thus far. Her and her team do this for the true impact it has on us as their clients. They seek justice and not money, they seek equality and true justice for her clients; I can validate that by how hard she has worked for my family. I am a father who has seen the dark side of family court and she has aided me the entire way with not just true legal advice but as a mother herself and one who fights for Civil Rights she truly understands what it means to be a minority in a court knowing the odds are stacked against me as a father let alone within the family court system! I’m not saying she simply focuses on fathers but she understands true justice for ALL her clients. I truly recommend her services and even after my children are 18 I will still seek her counsel! She has essentially motivated me to want to go to Law School and truly fight for justice for all! I love her and her team and highly recommend her for both Family and Civil Law.

I hired Mrs Brunner for restraining order property control and child support I had against the father of my kids it’s was a very hard case for me to relive all the hurt and pain he caused my kids and I Mrs Brunner was gods gift to me I was lost i didn’t know what to do but with her experience love an...d support as her client I can not say enough good things about her she’s truly the best and fights for u like no other I’m writing this review from the heart if u or anyone u know is going through any family law dificultes call her i promise u wont regret she’s smart strong and knows her laws u wont regret it im one happy customer and forever be grateful for her and her amazing team

When she says “I’ve got you.” She means it!

I reached out to Sharon Brunner at the recommendation of my prior custody attorney who was no longer handling cases in my area. The consultation process was painless, and the litigation strategy and possible outcomes were explained up front. The attorney fees were also explained up front. I immediat...ely got the feeling that she would be the best advocate for me, and my son who I was fighting for. Each part of the court process was thoroughly explained, and before every court date Sharon would call me to inform me what to expect. The opposing party had approximately five demands, including trying to cut my parenting time in half. During the first court appearance, Sharon provided arguments resulting in the judge ruling in our favor on three of the five demands, including the most important, blocking the reduction in time with my son. During the second court appearance, Sharon cited specific case law resulting in a ruling in my favor related to a significant amount of money, the opposing party was wrongfully trying to obtain. The judge only granted the opposing party one of their demands, and that was a review of child support. It was granted, and due to the diligence Sharon put into the paperwork, my child support was cut by more than HALF. I could not be happier with the work Sharon and her team did. If you are in the right, and fighting for the right reasons, hire them before the other side does!
