About Kerrie
Biography
I am local to the High Desert, am actively involved in our legal community and I care about our community. Get the local team advantage with me, an experienced attorney who is familiar with the local courts,as I appear almost daily in the Victorville Family Law courtrooms.
My office is located in Victorville, California and I limit my case load so that I can provide personal service to my clients. I pride myself on the fact that my direct email address is located on my business card so that my clients can contact me directly. Additionally, it is my stated policy that any client who wishes to speak to me directly at any time may do so. It is typical practice for me to meet with my clients prior to scheduled hearings so that I am up to date on thier situation.
I am thankful that I have very rare employee turnover because I treat my employees well and they enjoy working for me. The result is a seasoned staff who have great experience and pay attention to detail like I do.
When it comes time for the State Bar review of my Minimum Continuing Legal Education (MCLE), I typically have two to three times more than is required. Every four years (over the last eight years), I have taken a seven-day advanced family law course which very few of my colleagues have done. I believe very strongly that keeping up on the broadest and most difficult area of law is critical, especially with the constant changes in the laws.
I have been minor's counsel wherein the court thinks highly enough of me to appoint me to represent minor children in over sixty cases since my first appointment in 2002. Additionally, since I have strong gratitude to those serving our country in the military, I offer reduced rates to our active servicemembers.
Finally, I have been nominated by the High Desert Bar Association to serve next year as the Liaison who works in connection with the San Bernardino County Bar Association. One of my strong concerns at this time is that our County lacks in much needed court resources and our County's courts have less funds to operate off of than other counties. In the current bugdet crisis our State faces, our County has suffered more significantly than others. This causes my clients delays in getting to court. I am working to try to fight this inequality because our comminity and my clients deserve better.

Waste of money
Never on time, never knew facts of my case, rolled over on issues in court, doesn’t respond to emails, charges fees for literally everything, waste of time

She is not a good Attorney and her Law Office/Staff is not very helpful or friendly.
After paying a large Retainer, i felt i was ignored and my questions rarely answered. No phone calls and little email responses. Never again...
I am VERY involved in the community, so I have known Kerrie for a very long time. Though very nice. I don't believe she had my best interests at heart during the case. She allowed the other attorney to get in my face and bully me in the hallway of the courthouse. I don't feel that she whole heartedly...

Replied last July 15, 2015I have never allowed another attorney to get in my client's face in my career. However, please contact me as I am more than willing to go over your grievances. No client has ever expressed a desire to see me over these types of grievances. My staff is not rude at all. My staff is very professional and I have more word-of-mouth and "I saw you in court" business than all my advertisements generate. Therefore, my reputation does speak for itself.

DO NOT HIRE THIS OFFICE!!!! I called this office for a bankruptcy and never got to speak to the attorney. I was told over and over again that I would meet her later. Everyone else like her assistants did my whole bankruptcy and there were SO many mistakes. And they cost me so much money! DO NOT...

Replied last November 21, 2013This statement cannot be true, as my Bankruptcy clients always see me or my associate attorney at least two times. My office procedure requires that I meet with all clients, at a minimum, to review and sign the final draft of documents and at the 341 a creditor's meeting, unless the client hired us only to prepare their documents and did not want legal advise.

I checked my database for a person with the name "Nickolas" and found no matches for that name 1 to 3 years ago, so maybe you have me confused with someone else. However, I welcome you to come in to discuss your dissatisfaction with me. Additionally, if the case was easily won after, that suggests I did not get the opportunity to take the case to trial and perhaps if I did, I could have also prevailed.
