I do not recommend Janis. Her and her paralegals are rude and do not communicate with you as much as they should. Did not achieve anything in my child custody case. She kept giving in to what the other party requested and didn't listen to my wants or goals for my custody case. Due to her lost full cu...stody to joint and my daughter has not been the same since being sent with her estranged father.

Took a very simple "divorce 101" case and milked it for over a year wanting more and more money, making billing errors, losing documents, no communication and still nothing was completed except a list of billing charges with a memo at the end "we need another $1000"....this woman and her firm ought t...o be ashamed of themselves. I finally tired of throwing good money at a lost cause and walked away.

I lived on the east coast and needed somebody to represent me in California for a custody battle. Janice was a no brainier I had the opportunity to see her in action while representing myself in a case. She won the case for the guy who case was called before me. A year later she helped me to achieve ...what I could not do on my own. My son is able to travel to the east coast with me and see his extended family who he has never had the chance to meet including my parents. If you listen to her and follow her strategic plan I am sure you will also have the same success.
