What started with a life-shattering 5am phone call from our son, in Mr. Gass' hands, turned into a bigger-than-life event! We came to Mr. Gass recommended by one of his colleagues (who was too close to our family to comfortably represent us), as a mentor and one of the best attorney's in the area! ... We were so stunned to find ourselves needing an attorney that it made his job even harder -- First of all, we couldn't figure out what happened (being recorded in every phone call meant that we didn't hear the story from our son until many months into the arrest) and throughout the whole time, we were ALL trying to have a hand in the defense plan.
