Ryan Edward Fender

Ryan Fender is the founding attorney of the Law Office of Ryan E. Fender, APC. He is a Certified Specialist in Estate Planning, Trust & Probate Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. He is thorough and diligent in representing his clients. His passion for helping others and genuinely enjoying what he does is what makes him a great attorney. When Ryan was 9 years old his father passed away from cancer. His father was only 31 when he died. His parents were young and were not prepared for this loss and Ryan saw firsthand the hardships this placed on his family. From an early age, he made it his mission to ensure that when he had a family, they would be taken care of in the event something was to happen to him. This work ethic and passion for helping others can be seen by clients he works with. He places an emphasis on learning about clients and their families and educating them. This approach allows a plan to be designed that will protect the client, their families, and their legacy.

Professional Background

Prior to going to law school, Attorney Fender managed his own home theater and TV installation business. He oversaw a staff of 60 and serviced over 15,000 clients on an annual basis. His business experience not only prepared him to run his own law practice but taught him how critical customer service and client communication are. Ryan requires his firm to be detailed orientated and always go the extra mile to ensure a client’s needs are taken care of.

His first business was successful, but he felt the need to do something that had a more meaningful impact on the lives of others. This led him to pursue his law degree. He attended Northwestern California University School of Law and graduated 6th in his class. He successfully completed the bar exam on his first attempt and began his legal career. Initially he was unsure what area of law he wanted to practice but knew it had to put him in a position where he felt he could make a real difference and positive impact on the lives of others. Ryan was hired to work with a law firm that focused on real estate, civil litigation, probate, and estate planning. He quickly discovered his passion for estate planning and probate and realized that after running his own business for almost 20 years, he was better suited to managing a law practice than to being an employee in one.

The Law Office of Ryan E. Fender, APC is one of only three firms admitted as members of the American Academy of Estate Planning Attorneys. Academy firms have been recommended to consumers by Money Magazine and Suze Orman because of their extensive continuing education requirements and high caliber estate planning services.

Personal

Ryan has been a resident of Yucaipa for 30 years. When not working, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and 2 kids. He helps coach little league, enjoys camping, hiking, mountain biking, and Angels baseball.
