OUTCOME: Quickly received court order declaring property an asset of the trust

Client's father passed away and his house was never transferred into his trust. Client retained another attorney to petition the court to have the house declared an asset of the trust so probate could ... be avoided and property could be sold. Order that attorney received was insufficient to obtain Title Insurance and move forward with selling the property. Three months after order was received, attorney still had not corrected the deficiency in the order. Client hired Law Office of Ryan E. Fender to correct issue. Client receives SSI and MediCal and was set to receive an inheritance from her father's estate. The inheritance was an outright distribution to her which would have been subject to DHCS recovery.
