I hired James to represent me in a custody and child support matter. Initially, he was great. Very confident and responsive. He handled my child support matter easily. Then when it came to custody, he was missing in action. He informed me of a court date. As it got closer I would email him to make s...ure everything was filed and were were ready to go. He would tell me he had to check, or he wasn't sure over and over. Finally, on the day of our court date I had a text from him asking me to meet him at another location than the court room. He then told me that the paperwork was rejected (that he was supposed to file 3 months before), that he was having medical issues and was of unclear mind. Since that day he refuses to settle my case. Hasn't filed paperwork, wont call me back. No contact. I will be forced to take him to small claims court to get my money back since he refuses to answer my emails request for this.
