Jan 6 after no amended doc emailed as stated, VM not replied to, I sent long detailed texts at 5:31 pm and again at 8:51pm telling her I had NOT received the document as she’d again assured… I asked, “should I have received it?” She replied, “Not yet” at 8:52pm I sent her msg saying I was scared, ...that this was not what was discussed bc I’d told her upon meeting that I needed the amended naming of defendants as business or etc… and to THEN research or hire process servers to serve by Jan 16th… but MOST IMPORTANTLY she had told me I’d need to RE-FILE the amended complaint in ORDER of course TO HAVE the court re-issue the amended complaint w summons for service etc… And wrote: “scared this won’t be possible within this short time unless the newly filed amended complaint will give me a different serving deadline?” Her reply: “It will be fine” Jan 6, 10:01pm Calls not returned, emails, and texts…it’s now Jan 9, 2017. After vm not responded to I again send her long text as it is the only venue she replies to: I express my SERIOUS concerns about ALL Of the above ask her to call me ask MANY RATIONAL ? under circumstances . She texts back only, and it is: “Don’t worry. We have time. Regarding Marc, not sure what happened.” 8:13pm I respond with relief, believing she knows what she’s talking about, or has any intention to actually do as agreed. She follows up with a statement that “we can ask the court for permission to serve them by publication”… Um.. Huh? And until JAN 11 THAT WAS ALL I HEARD FROM HER.. DESPITE DETAILED MSGS ASKING WHAT THE HECK AND DETAILING THE LEGAL PARAMATERS SHE CLEARLY DIDN’T CARE ABOUT.. On JAN 11TH, she texted me to “just serve the original complaint’ and “at the last known address” etc etc… It was INSANE.. The insanity continued through my paying for rush service to crap shoot address to a defendant not even named by the needs of the complaint, and of course it was a WASTE of more money as the process server went to “the last RESIDENTIAL address” that I ‘d already told her was…. Whatever… and of course, it was a waste…and the DAY AFTER I’d managed to FIND a server for that city to server by THE DEADLINE TO SERVE THAT SHE HAD LITERALLY IGNORED AS THE ENTIRE PURPOSE FOR HIREING HER TO AMEND THE COMPLAINT TO HAVE IT SERVED IN ALL CORRECT PARAMETERS, SHE she sends me her first msg of the entire month ordeal that was unsolicited: “Touching base with you. Where are you at regarding service”. Are YOU KIDDING ME??? DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT HIRE THIS WOMAN TO AGREE TO TIE YOUR SHOES.

Ms. Lopez represented me in my eviction. The landlord settled right away, gave up two month's rent so I could move to a place that is better for my kids. What I like about her is she returns calls right away and was straight up with me. I had lawyers before where you leave a message or you always en...d up talking to the secretary. That didn't happen.
