Binkley handled two civil cases for me. He did not inform me of important Court hearings and motions and he did not show up at important Court hearings and did not respond to a Motion for Summary Judgement while he withheld important information from me and lied all along until I lost both of my civ...il cases because of him.

Daryl Binkley FAILED to contact the court and did NOT appear as scheduled forcing the judge to dismiss my case! This was at the most critical time since 2011 when I hired him. For over a year he rarely answered my calls, emails, texts, voicemails. During a 5 month period he cancel or rescheduled ...37 appointments. I paid in advance and contracted him to administer my trust case through settlement. But it got dismissed because he didn't show up! He has disappeared. He took forever to do what little work that was done. I believe he cost me thousands of dollars. (let alone the thousands I paid him) His conduct is disgraceful and unforgivable. I would NEVER recommend him as council. I have learned he has filed for Chapter 7 and a Federal Judge has issued sanctions against him for not doing his job and not showing up in another case. I talked to another client of his. Binkley took their retainer but did not file any paperwork, now that client (with 3 children, one an infant) is facing eviction because they don't have the money to hire another lawyer. These reviews are to help people decide whether to hire someone or not. My advise, DON'T !!!!!!

During late 2014, we contacted a local attorney, his wife, also an attorney, and we liked them and their staff upon meeting them in their offices. We hired them to update our Wills, a Trust, health care directives and POAs, along with a few other legal matters. Ours seemed to be a small case of the ...type that they had done many times over. We paid him in full in advance as he asked in January 2015. Since late Spring 2015 we’ve made countless phone calls and emails to gauge the status of this work. By June, though, our voicemail messages were no longer returned. We resumed our efforts in the fall with no success. One day earlier this month a visit to his now-locked offices [no sign on doors] left us with a sinking pit in our stomachs. The building property manager said she couldn’t tell us much except that a stream of his unhappy clients had been coming through since he and his staff were last seen in June 2015. Because we were worried, that something nefarious must have happened to him, we contacted the county sheriff to learn if he was perhaps dead. The sheriff returned our call to say, “No, he’s not dead,” but without a word of help beyond that as apparently their rules direct. Something nefarious had, instead, happened to us it seems. We filed an official Complaint with the CA State Bar Association. If we aren’t going to receive completed work then we want our money back but equally important, we want our records returned which we left with him! Binkley’s suggested mishandling of a case before federal Judge, Honorable Jesus Bernal, 9th District Court, “Panagiotis Theodoropoulos v. County of Los Angeles,” is worth reading. Judge Bernal “Slapped [him--Binkley] $24,272 in sanctions for failing to properly respond to motions and interrogatories on a number of occasions…” He is is to appear before Judge Bernal in January 2016. For us, we are upset that Binkley and his wife/partner, Ana Radisic, failed to deliver work; have not returned phone calls; mismanaged our documents, and in the absence of the aforementioned they have not refunded our money and advised how, when, and where our records may be obtained. Rating system should most accurately include Zero -0- and/or Minus Numbers. Until something this bad has happened to you, one cannot discount the power of a Zero -0- score, as is due in this case.

Those writing the 5-star reviews have to be written by Daryl himself. It's unfortunate that there isn't a 0-star possibility because I would have gone with that. This guy takes months to do things that should take one or two days…and he's still not done with my little job yet! He never returns pho...ne calls or e-mails. His office voicemail is often filled, so no message of concern can be placed. He has no secretary to cover for him. Texts are his preferred method of communication, and those are rarely responded to. When he does, however, he promises and promises to do what you hired him to do, simple things, but he never does them. This is the most frustrating experience I have ever had with any person in my life. Don't hire this person, and if you really must, never, ever pay him upfront. He will pocket your money and leave you with nothing.
