Angela has provided numerous consultations to myself and several of my personal friends over the dozen or so years I've known her. Every person I've referred to her has been impressed with her knowledge and proficiency and touched by her warm personality and sincere compassion. She has illuminated for me the dynamics at play in the local legal system. She's coached me on how to direct my public defender to get charges dropped multiple times. I've seen her do the same with many of my friends and usually without charging. She wants to empower and educate and isn't withholding vital information from anyone who needs it just to maximize her income. I would have expected her to get jaded and hard over the years, but when I called her up the other day, after many years without contact, she picked up immediately and gave me valuable advice and a referral right then and there, all while she was parking her car! I love this woman!

I hired Angela to represent my son . Took my money and did nothing but continue his cases. Said she could get him into drug program that didnt happen either. All she did was yell at me when asked what she was doing for the money I paid her. She didn't show for a couple of his court dates on one court... date she texted me while I was my sons court room and said judge was getting promoted so my sons case would not be heard which was not true I was in court room and my son was on docket and Judge was there she had another fellow attorney continue the case. Please save your money and sanity. My son was so stressed out of her lack of care on his case . She also dumped him and said there was a conflict of interest mid case . She is just interested in money not in fighting for your freedom.

First and foremost, my case was dismissed. Angela looked over the case and immediately saw the technicalities that were grounds for dismissal. Other lawyers wanted thousands, but she took the time to show me how to get it dismissed myself without even hiring her or paying for a consultation. I still ...retained her because I didn’t feel like doing it myself, but the point is what other lawyer would do that? I interviewed several and every other attorney that I interviewed had one thing in common... MONEY. But Angela was very reasonably priced and in the end my case was dismissed. I recommend anyone hire her who is looking for an honest, hard working, highly intelligent and fairly priced attorney. P.S. I see mostly good reviews, but I also see a few negative ones. Well if you find yourself in a situation where you even need an attorney, that means you either messed up somehow or you were just in a bad situation. Either way that is not Angela’s fault. Her job is to do the best she can to get YOU out of trouble. So just because someone isn’t satisfied with the outcome of a well fought case doesn’t mean she is to blame. And unless there is a trial happening, then she doesn’t need to be present just to request a continuance.

This is not a compliment, this is a complaint. Angela Friedrich is unprofessional. She was absent to two court hearings which were crucial to our case. Which only aggravated the judge. When we asked on why she failed to show up both occasions, she lied knowingly once. Her assistants told us she was o...ut of town. One in Los Angeles, CA and one in San Diego, CA. When we let her go for fear of losing the case and informed her her services were no longer needed and we were looking for another lawyer, she responded unprofessionally by insulting and swearing at us over the phone before hanging up. She later called to apologize but still was bitter on the matter and in the end said the case had no chance of being dismissed. She knowingly accepted the case with no will to try to get it dismissed, it seems that she just wanted the money. She would also not refund us a majority of the money back. If you want a lawyer who cares, keeps you informed, and helps. Well, we do not recommend Angela J Friedrich. It will save you time, money, and much emotional stress.
