Biography
Attorney Lourna M. Marquez Carrasquillo has been licensed in the US jurisdictions of Puerto Rico since 2003 and CA since 2010. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor in Arts, psychology concentration, from the University of Puerto Rico, and obtained her Juris Doctor from the top law school in Puerto Rico, ABA accredited University of Puerto Rico School of Law. Upon completion of her Juris Doctor, Lourna passed the Puerto Rico Bar and was immediately licensed in 2003. She practiced civil litigation for many years and later moved to San Diego to pursue her Masters in Law degree with a concentration in International Law from the University of San Diego. Lourna has been practicing in all areas of immigration law since then. She eventually took and also passed the California State Bar. Lourna is also a mediator certified by the Bureau of Alternate Dispute Resolutions of Puerto Rico. She is licensed in California and Puerto Rico and is fluent in Spanish and English.
