Stephen R. Brodsky

I hired Stephen Brodsky nine years ago this May. I actually never met Mr. Brodsky personally. Instead, I was passed around to his Associates (not one Attorney had my case, but a total of three)! Ultimately, I was told I would not win and it would cost me thousands of dollars to go to trial. I bel...ieve Brodsky & his Associates never felt I had a case, but they knew they could get a quick and hefty retainer fee from me. How can you hire an Attorney and never see him? The charge negatively affected many years of my life. Please shop around before considering Brodsky.

I was facing a 2nd time assault charge against my husband when I never ever have so much as spoke a bad a word about him my entire life. Other attorneys wouldn't even hear me out when I came in for their "free consultation," they would listen to my story for 10 mins before rattling off some price and... an excuse on why we need to "resolve" the case. Mr. Brodsky not only spent all afternoon with me but answered every single one of my questions, worked with me on price and won, not resolved, but won my case so I wouldn't have to go to jail or get any sort of probation violation.

I met with Mr. Brodsky after getting a second time DUI after being convicted and on probation of my first in 2010. It was in the same courthouse and I was looking at a parole violation and a new case. I was extremely broke after dealing with my first case and having to bail out of custody again. Brod...sky was able to keep me from going back to jail and also worked with me in regards to my finances. Without Stephen Brodsky I would have no choice but to plead guilty with a public defender and be convicted of yet another DUI which would have destroyed my life and career. No other law firm would even listen to my story because of my financial situation, but Mr. Stephen Brodsky not only took the time but helped me get the result I needed.

Mr Brodsky charged me around $4,500 dollars ( i later found the fair market price was around $1,500). He made one court appearance, told me to plead guilty. for my next court appearance he did not show up (he was in LA at his other office. he had originally tried to get the judge to change the date... to accomodate his(Brodsky's) schedule. The judge said no. So on the day of my court, no lawyer. call his office and they say they will get a lawyer over to me.. i hired Brodsky not the guy he sent that was 2 hours late. my third court appearance Brodsky (over the phone) said he didn't need to be there and told me what to say. So basically represented myself on that one...took my money then put very little time or effort in...

Mr. Brodsky's office was so helpful in helping me dealing with my 2nd time DUI. They came up with strategies and evidence I would have never even imagined. He brought in an evaluator, and an expert right away. I thought for sure I was f'd, but Stephen was able to convince the das not to give me any j...ail time and allowed me to seek a road for recovery. I was not going to use him because there are much cheeper attorneys that said they would handle my case for close to nothing. Honestly, this was the best money I ever spent. I never go out of my way to praise anyone ever, but he ineravertly saved my life in more ways the one. Thank you! :)
