Security Clearance - Written Response to SOR for Drug Involvement, Personal Misconduct and Criminal Conduct (Active Duty)

After getting notice from my security officer that I would be receiving a Statement of Reasons to preliminarily revoke my Secret clearance and deny my request for a TS/SCI, I thought my career in the military was over. I had no clue what I was doing or who the best option would be to help me with my... case. I contacted Alan Edmunds Firm after spending hours on Google reading reviews for other firms. I called and spoke to Mr. Ryan Nerney about my case. He explained the entire response process, all possible outcomes, pricing, and even offered a military discount. He was friendly, professional and sounded like he had a lot of experience. It all sounded too good to be true so I decided to look into a few other firms before making my decision. None of the other lawyers I spoke with even came close to comparing to the Edmund Firm in pricing, willingness to help or professionalism. I decided to go with Mr. Nerney and his team, which turned out to be the best decision I have ever made for my career. It took me two months to gather all the documents needed to build a strong response with Mr. Nerney. He provided valuable input along the way, advice on how to communicate with my chain of command about the matter and was always quick with responding via email. This was especially important to me because of being stationed overseas. After the response was submitted, I was still preparing for the worst. Mr. Nerney told me it would take 1-3 months to hear back and that if the response was not favorable, we would do what needed to be done to prepare for the hearing stage. Not even TWO WEEKS later, I had my answer from DODCAF - FAVORABLE SECURITY DETERMINATION AFTER DUE PROCESS. I cannot describe the relief I felt in that moment and I owe all my thanks to Ryan and the Alan Edmund's Team. If you are active duty and have a security clearance concern, this firm is your best chance to keep your clearance and your career.

Excellent representation

The entire staff at the Edmund’s firm was friendly and responsive from my first meeting with them. I was facing an uphill challenge while going through the security clearance process. Honestly, I did not think I had chance in being approved for a clearance. The Edmund’s law firm put all of my fea...rs at ease and explained the entire process to me. The Edmunds law firm represented me during my security clearance hearing. Ryan was my attorney and he did an excellent job before, during and following up after the case. Because of their expertise, I was able to receive a favorable ruling and receive my security clearance. This decision will provide me with new opportunities and allow me to grow professionally. I would strongly recommend working with the Edmund’s law firm if you need assistance with keeping or applying for a security clearance.

Security Clearance Appeal Hearing

I had a telephonic consultation with Mr. Edmonds to discuss my case and at that point decided to retain his services. Mr Edmunds and his staff told me EXACTLY what to anticipate. We went over the SOR line by line addressing everything in detail in a methodical manner without any judgements. Mr. Edmu...nds and his staff gave me precise instructions as to what documentation they needed for my case. Their timeline for the case was spot on. Whenever my wife or I had a question or concern they addressed them patiently and professionally. After the discovery phase, Mr. Edmunds took the time to get to know me in order represent me using the "whole person concept" vs allegations on a SOR. His knowledge, skill and ability during the actual hearing would make one think he had known me personally for years. I would highly recommend anyone finding themselves in similar circumstances would avail themselves of his world class services. His services are not only the best in the business but also quite reasonable and affordable.

Victory With Security Clearance Matter

Looking for help defending your security clearance by responding to a Statement of Reasons? Look NO FURTHER THAN EDMUNDS LAW FIRM! They are truly fantastic! In short, Alan Edmunds and his staff saved my 15 year career as a Civilian Government Contractor on a Navy account. I received an SOR in January... 2016 after filing two Chapter 13 bankruptcies inside of a 7 year period. I was absolutely panicked and convinced that I would not be able to sway the Government to see me as the good and trustworthy individual that I am, who has had a calamity of impactful events happen in my life. I thought I would lose my job and lose everything I have worked so hard for! After receiving several quotes from local law firms that were all ridiculously high, I found Edmunds online and read the great many positive reviews and success stories. I immediately called and spoke to Dennis Smith. He put my mind at ease right away and explained their process, the next steps and answered all of my questions. I hired them for half of what their competition charges! All of the documentation they produced, and all communications with me, were very helpful and professional. Alan Edmunds himself personally represented me, and defended my character using the whole person concept. I was extremely impressed with all of their efforts and their “can do” approach to my situation and case. The secret clearance we fought for was adjudicated as FAVORABLE!! I owe a debt of gratitude I could never repay to Alan Edmunds and the rest of his talented staff for saving my career so I can continue as the primary wage earner in my family. I COULD NOT have won this without the help of the Edmunds Law Firm. I give them my highest possible recommendation and whole heartedly encourage you to HIRE THEM!

Security Clearance SOR

Contacted Edmunds Law Firm to help with a response to a Statement of Reasons for a security clearance application. My lawyer was always very prompt and courteous with his responses. He gave me a list of documents to assemble, formed the actual response using these documents, and sent it to the DODC...AF. My case was adjudicated favorable in about 3 months (I was told it would take 2-4 months). I highly doubt I would have received my clearance if I did not hire the Edmunds Law Firm. However, I will note that I was charged, in addition to the retainer, a small monthly fee for little things such as printing and sending documents. This seemed unnecessary, as I was already paying a retainer, and I feel that these costs should have been included in that retainer. Overall, I would highly recommend this law firm for any security clearance related matters.
