Saved my Career and my Clearance

I received a Statement of Reasons (SOR) from the government and thought I could respond to myself which I did. What a mistake. The next thing I know the government has threatened to revoke my clearances and has scheduled me in front of a judge at a hearing to defend myself. The SOR was full of mista...kes and misinformation. I contacted the Edmunds Law Firm and my case was given to Ryan Nerney. Ryan knew what documents I needed to submit, what documents needed notarized and made sure I was well prepared when I appeared at the Hearing. Ryan was there with me and did a fantastic job. Excellent Service; great results

I found the Edmunds law firm through an Internet search to help me with my security clearance, which had been denied after working for the government for more than 15 months. After speaking to them and my attorney Ryan Nerney, I felt confident that I would have a favorable outcome. Attorney Nerney a...lso told me where to go so I could review their cases and outcomes to prove that they are highly successful in security clearance matters. After doing my research and validating they are highly successful, I retained their services. Attorney Nerney, reviewed my case, wrote an aggressive appeal, spoke with me every step of the way, and made sure I was ready for my hearing in front of an Administrative Judge. At the hearing, Attorney Nerney was professional, well-versed, and aggressively argued the FACTS in my case to prove I was suitable for a government security clearance. He even went so far as to ask the Judge for an expedited response because I had been on suspension without pay for 10 months, and had children to take care of. The Judge agreed to the expedited response given my circumstances, and just over two months after the hearing, I was notified that the Judge gave a favorable recommendation, and the government approved my security clearance so that I can return to work and continue my career. I highly recommend The Edmunds Law firm and their attorney's. They are well-versed in security clearance matters and have proven to me they know what they are doing. I only wish I had contacted them sooner.

Help with DoD Security Clearance

I initially emailed the Edmunds Law Firm about a letter I had received from the Department of Defense stating they were getting ready to deny my SECRET security clearance and giving me a very short window to appeal. The first call I got was from Alan Edmunds and they were on the case immediately fil...ing the correct paperwork, contacting the appropriate government folks and staving off a pending denial of my clearance. Mr. Ryan Nerney was assigned to my case and he carefully walked me thru the exact steps I needed to take (including requesting a hearing to which my company FSO said I didn't need to request and reply in writing) to ensure I had the best chance of reviving my now on life support security clearance. I am happy to say it worked! I had spent almost 3 years responding back and fourth with the government when if I had only reached out to the Edmunds Law Firm when I got my first SOR I could have saved myself a year of stress and had my clearance much earlier. I can't say enough about the Edmunds Law Firm and Mr Nerney, they are professional, know the law, have great experience and relationships with the local (in my case San Diego) government personnel and treat you with the utmost respect even with some of your "skeletons in the closet" are a bit embarrassing. I would hire again in a second and highly recommend the Edmunds Law Firm for any DoD security clearance issues as they'll definitely get the job done!

Security Clearance Appeal Hearing

I had a telephonic consultation with Mr. Edmonds to discuss my case and at that point decided to retain his services. Mr Edmunds and his staff told me EXACTLY what to anticipate. We went over the SOR line by line addressing everything in detail in a methodical manner without any judgements. Mr. Edmu...nds and his staff gave me precise instructions as to what documentation they needed for my case. Their timeline for the case was spot on. Whenever my wife or I had a question or concern they addressed them patiently and professionally. After the discovery phase, Mr. Edmunds took the time to get to know me in order represent me using the "whole person concept" vs allegations on a SOR. His knowledge, skill and ability during the actual hearing would make one think he had known me personally for years. I would highly recommend anyone finding themselves in similar circumstances would avail themselves of his world class services.
