Dont waste your money

My husband and I hired him a couple years ago to resolve our tax issue (we needed to make installment agreement with IRS) Our case was passed around to several different lawyers in his firm. Zero follow-up! And the installment agreement to this day has never been set up. I’m guessing they have a huge... turnover in his office. Not once have we ever received anything that had been promised. He never even spoke to us again after we paid him. Just a couple of weeks ago Cheryl e-mailed us about a notice they received from the IRS. When my husband had a call with them a few days ago and spoke with the gal who answered the phone , she had absolutely NO idea what was going on, she thought it was a bankruptcy. Then a completely different attorney reached out from his office and wants money, again. Please people, do your homework and do NOT waste you money. Take your business elsewhere!

Hire someone else!!

We hired Gary to help us save our house. Imagine our surprise when 8 months later our house was sold at auction without any notice to us! All of our foreclosure notices went to Mr Quackenbush, and he forwarded NONE of them to us. Multiple attempts were made to contact him by phone and email, as we...ll as by another attorney. To date (over a year later), he has not returned any of those. In fact, we recently found out that he didn't even show up to court on our behalf. Please hire anyone else. Gary Quackenbush will not help you.

Unfortunately James is telling only about 5% of the story. We filed a Chapter 13 bankruptcy on the eve of a foreclosure sale (had not made mortgage payment for 16 months) and stopped the foreclosure. We had exchanged over 150 emails and dozens of calls and meetings during the course of representation. I personally attended 5 hearings to work the case. They stopped paying the mortgage payment even after the case was filed so the creditor went to court to get after the house again. TRUE we lost the house because the creditor was not going to wait any longer and I did not act fast enough to fight. To fight the creditor at that point was a lost cause. The hearing that I did not go to was the hearing dismissing the case for failure to comply with the court orders and the bankruptcy re-organization plan. I'm sorry that they lost a house that was $50,000 upside down and in need of serious repairs. Instead of asking for money for damages, they went to the California bar to try to destroy my 30 year career helping families - and nearly did. It will take me years to recover what it cost me to make this mistake. While I am recovering from the severe punishment imposed by California, James will be able to buy a home (their income is high enough to do so) assuming they handle their money well. My team and I work very hard to help families. I'm very sorry that this type of thing happens and hurts people. GQ

Do Not Hire!!!

He was hired by my family to help with a legal matter and was terrible to work with. He has been of no help and now cost us $1000's of dollars we will never be able to recover. Horrible customer service and would not return calls or emails. Take it from us...hire a different lawyer and save your...self the stress and financial loss.

I'm really not sure who this is. There is no way to fix this without knowing what happened. I have 5 full-time team members to help clients and I can't figure out how we all missed this one. We are working very hard to make things right. GQ

One of the Best

I came into Gary's office in a panic due to my current financial situation. After hearing Gary on the Craig Sewing Show, I called and made an appointment. Gary made it all clear and helped me understand what to do and how he was going to help me. He was affordable, responsive, and very helpful throug...h the whole process. I highly recommend him to anyone who is looking for a dedicated attorney.

Great at Explaining the Process!

I went to Gary with questions about what I needed to do to make sure things were taken care of when I pass away. I didn't really know what options were out there. He took the time to explain multiple options and what each piece of an estate plan would look like. Even better, he had a quick turn aroun...d time on drafting my documents.
