Hire someone else!!
We hired Gary to help us save our house. Imagine our surprise when 8 months later our house was sold at auction without any notice to us! All of our foreclosure notices went to Mr Quackenbush, and he forwarded NONE of them to us. Multiple attempts were made to contact him by phone and email, as we...
Unfortunately James is telling only about 5% of the story. We filed a Chapter 13 bankruptcy on the eve of a foreclosure sale (had not made mortgage payment for 16 months) and stopped the foreclosure. We had exchanged over 150 emails and dozens of calls and meetings during the course of representation. I personally attended 5 hearings to work the case. They stopped paying the mortgage payment even after the case was filed so the creditor went to court to get after the house again. TRUE we lost the house because the creditor was not going to wait any longer and I did not act fast enough to fight. To fight the creditor at that point was a lost cause. The hearing that I did not go to was the hearing dismissing the case for failure to comply with the court orders and the bankruptcy re-organization plan. I'm sorry that they lost a house that was $50,000 upside down and in need of serious repairs. Instead of asking for money for damages, they went to the California bar to try to destroy my 30 year career helping families - and nearly did. It will take me years to recover what it cost me to make this mistake. While I am recovering from the severe punishment imposed by California, James will be able to buy a home (their income is high enough to do so) assuming they handle their money well. My team and I work very hard to help families. I'm very sorry that this type of thing happens and hurts people. GQ

Great at Explaining the Process!
I went to Gary with questions about what I needed to do to make sure things were taken care of when I pass away. I didn't really know what options were out there. He took the time to explain multiple options and what each piece of an estate plan would look like. Even better, he had a quick turn aroun...
Thanks! I am so glad we could help! GQ

He wasnt the worst bu...
I would love to know who this was. I make every effort to make my clients happy. The Bankruptcy process is so stressful for most clients that we really try to make it go smoothly. It upsets me to her that clients are dissapointed. I am very sorry you felt this way. Please let me know what I can do to help you feel better about the representation so I can know how to better serve others. GQ

Hire another tax and bankruptcy lawyer!!!
Gary's follow through and desire to keep his clients informed is by far the worst of any attorney I have ever encountered. He assured me that I would hear back from him within less than 30 days. During this time, I repeatedly attempted to communicate with him, but he neglected each of my emails and...
Ouch! It is true that if you make someone happy they will tell someone but if you upset them they will tell 10 people. If this is the Marc I think is it, I believe I did everything I was hired to do. True, I could have got it done faster. I wish I could have delivered better news, but I was the messenger of the bad news from the big bad tax man. I'm sorry Marc.
