Biography
Ms. Pedroso grew up in San Diego. After graduating from UCLA with a degree in History, she worked for an estate planning firm in Mission Valley. After one year she decided to go to lawschool and was admitted to USD Law where she participated in mock trial competitions and developed an interest in litigation. Upon graduating from USD Law, she worked as a paralegal at ChapinWheeler, LLP, now ChapinFitzgerald LLP, a complex civil business litigation firm in downtown San Diego. She has also clerked for the San Diego Public Defender's Office, where she participated heavily in felony trials. At Insurance Company of the West, she investigated workers' compensation fraud cases. At PiteDuncan LLP, in their real estate and bankruptcy department, she wrote motions involving real estate transactions, specifically with post-foreclosure evictions. With numerous years of legal research and writing, Ms. Pedroso decided to start Marquis Law Group with her fellow colleague whom she trusts and admires.
