Even from my youngest days, I’ve always had a desire to side with the underdog, the one no one expects to win or fight. After graduating law school and passing the bar, I opened my own law office. The first lawsuit I ever filed was against one of the largest banks in the United States. I threw myself into the fire because I knew this was how I’d be the voice my clients–then and—now, would need.

Since then, I have expanded my practice to fight back against insurance companies trying to take advantage of those who have been injured. The pain you’ve experienced doesn’t need to go beyond injury and loss. My aim is to get you the maximum compensation you deserve. Fighting for what is right is not just a part of my job as your personal injury or real estate attorney, it goes to the heart of who I am as a person.

First Accident
Being in the busy city of San Diego California, I wasn’t expecting to get in a car accident on my way to work. Hanecak Law went above and beyond to work for what was right. Dan helped me receive more money than expected for the accident. They fought in order for betterment at the end of the settlement. Dan was personable and thorough throughout the whole case. For using an attorney for the first time, I more than recommend using Hanecak Law. Dan pushed and pushed for all he could as well as helped me with post traumatization from the accident; I could not be more happier with how the case ended.

The BEST Accident Attorney!
Attorney Dan Hanecak represented me in an accident claim in Sacramento County. He did a phenomenal job! 10 on communication, response time, accuracy, wisdom and knowledge. Most importantly, he was extremely supportive and understanding. I was referred to him by a friend of mine and I had never used him before. Dan treated me like a victim, not a paycheck. He understood my case, my position and was a great listener. After almost a year of getting nowhere with my initial attorney who took my case, Dan was able to get my claim paid IN FULL, in less than 6 months!! PLEASE CALL DAN!!

If I could give them 10 stars I would! Every question and concern I had about my car accident and the process was addressed immediately. I've heard stories where people have to try to track down their lawyers because they never hear from them--I never had that problem! Always in contact and updating me about my case. Best Car accident attorney
I can't say enough good things about Dan and Janet! After trying to handle my car accident case myself (big mistake!) and the insurance company giving me the runaround, I decided i needed a lawyer. I tried calling a couple law firms in the Sacramento area and all i got was either someone telling me a lawyer would call me back or a ringing phone. When i called Dan's office, he actually answered the phone and talked to me about my case and where to go from there. Fast forward and Janet was able to get me a great settlement in what felt like no time! These two are an awesome team and treat their clients amazingly!

I was in a car accident last year and very unsure of what to do. I was worried that medical bills could become very expensive. I also have to use my car for work, so I was concerned about getting it fixed as quickly as possible. I felt like my only option was to call an attorney for help. I spoke with Dan and he was immediately able to answer all of my questions and referred me to excellent doctors and chiropractors for medical treatment. Dan and Janet stayed in contact throughout the whole process and kept me informed as to what was going on. They're a great team and I couldn't recommend them more. Dan should be the first attorney you contact if you’ve been in a car accident or injured in some way. I was in a car accident and had never had to hire an attorney before. I wasn’t even sure if I needed one. When I called the office, Dan answered the phone and scheduled me for an appointment right away. Great experience
Dan worked on my car accident case after I was rear ended by someone driving with a suspended license. I suffered whiplash and began experiencing chronic neck/back pain, to the point where I could barely sleep at night. I'd never been in a situation like that before, so I'm incredibly happy I was able to find a lawyer who was as knowledgeable, professional and compassionate as Dan.
