Glen Jules Honig

Family law attorney Glen Honig has more than 25 years of experience practicing in the San Diego area. He is well-versed in a variety of family law cases, including divorce, disputes about child custody and visitation, child support, spousal support and property division, including defined benefit pensions, defined contribution pensions, stock options, business entities, stocks, bonds and brokerage accounts.

Possessing a background in real estate, Glen has immense experience handling cases that involve California real property and finance laws. He has authoritative legal knowledge about foreclosures, boundary disputes, property insurance claims, condominium homeowners associations and code compliance. Due to this, he is well-suited to handle cases involving complex, high-asset property division. Glen has served as a Judge Pro Tem and Settlement Judge for the San Diego County Superior Court, since 2005, including the East County Division and Family Court in Downtown San Diego. Glen has consistently volunteered at the Superior Court, two years at the Family Law Access Project at the Sixth Avenue Family Court, four years providing help to victims of domestic violence at the East County Court, followed by five years providing assistance to victims of civil harassment. Currently, Glen is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the San Diego Family Law Bar Association and the Foothills Bar Association. Additionally, Glen is currently serving on the Board of Directors of the Foothills Bar Association, and completing a three year term on the Board of Directors of the San Diego Family Law Bar Association.

In his spare time, Glen enjoys home remodeling, Corvettes, antique restoration, and photography. He understands the emotional bond formed in a family, as he has been happily married for more than 32 years, with two grown children.
