Eric did an excellent job with my divorce. I originally thought my divorce was going to be a friendly split. However, every issue was contentious. If I said something was black, my ex said it was white. We had to litigate everything, down to the furniture! We had some sticky things, like a pensio...n division. Eric put language into the MSA that saved me on the pension division. Eric is a likable guy, which helps in negotiations. However, he is SMART, and that will benefit you when there are things that you really want. We had to go in front of the judge to litigate several matters and Eric paid attention to the Judge's comments and body language to tailor his responses to benefit your case. It is hard when you are emotional about something, but he helps to bring you back to what is important and how to achieve that goal. In court, I wanted every lie to be corrected, but that costs money and sometimes if it doesn't affect anything you have to focus on the important issues. One of the things that I LOVED about Eric is he is HONEST. Eric tells you up front, he wont allow anything into court that isn't honest, so he will not pressure you to write or sign anything that isnt truth. We all know the jokes about attorneys, but Eric is truly one of the good ones! All attorneys bill by the minute, but Eric wont pad the bill. It isn't all about the money. That comes back to that honesty thing! It doesn't matter how easy or complicated your divorce is, Eric is the attorney for you!
