VETERAN BEWARE!!!

VETERAN BEWARE! This firm seems to care about the actual veteran less than the VA (didn't think that was possible). Terrible experience for me, jacked me around for 6 months then dropped me like a bad habit. Pay extra close attention to the negative review responses from this company. They put more e...ffort into crafting their retort than they do your actual case. Not to mention they are SUPER condescending. No, I didn't go to law school, I am not very bright (probably why I ended up in the military to begin with). I was treated with ignorance, then arrogance, then dropped like weight after Ozempic. Please take the time to do your research on a firm that actually cares about YOU! #22ADAY

We’re sorry to hear that you feel this way, Mr. Long. While we understand you are frustrated, your review contains several serious inaccuracies. Our records show that our team made multiple good-faith efforts to support your case, including initiating a claim that resulted in a favorable outcome and reaching out promptly following VA decisions to discuss next steps. At no point did we "drop" your case without communication. Our decision to withdraw representation came only after you expressed strong dissatisfaction with our process and declined to provide the information needed to move forward with the claim of your choosing. We never filed any claim without your input or withheld information from you—our consultation included a recommendation based on our legal experience, and we made every effort to involve you in that process. We recognize how difficult navigating the VA system can be and regret that our process did not align with your expectations. However, we remain proud of our work on behalf of thousands of veterans nationwide and stand by our commitment to respectful, competent, and professional representation. We sincerely wish you the best in securing the benefits you deserve. —McKeown Law, LLP

You need somebody fighting for you!

I filed my claim twice with the VA and my claim was lost twice. After that I contacted Andrew and told him my problems I was having navigating the VA claim process. At that point I didn't feel comfortable dealing with the VA without proper representation. Once I signed on with McKeown Law they too...k over my entire claim, the only thing I had to do was go to the appointments. I ended up with a much higher rating thanks to Andrew than I could have ever done on my own. It is worth the money to let McKeown Law fill out the paperwork correctly the first time for me. My back pay was way higher than the small fee they asked for. Now I getting compensated more monthly for the rest of my life. I was referral and I have referred several veterans since. My advice is this is not process you want to do yourself, you need somebody fighting for you.

VERY GOOD

Andrew filed material to the VA to increase my disability. I had a 30% disability. He was able to get it increased to 100 %. You can't get any better than that!

VA Rating

Andrew was very helpful with my VA claim. Pretty much took care of the whole process. Got the results I wanted very quickly. Would definitely recommend him to any veteran filing a claim with the VA.

Phenomenal work ethic

Andrew and his team went above and beyond to gather information and look into my case. We had many phone consultations and Andrew was fully prepared every time we spoke. Excellent lawyer whom I have already recommended to others.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
