Highly Recommended

I found Jason after a very bad experience with my first attorney. She not only charged me a fortune but also did nothing for my case. Jason got the case and was very efficient, communicative about the steps, and honest. Anytime I need to go over a document Jason was always available to read through i...t with me, to translate the attorney terms and in case I had questions. He has always been available via phone or email and if he is not in his office, he returns my calls or emails in timely and efficient manner. I highly recommend Jason and his law firm. Thank you for everything, Jason.

Highly Recommend

I highly recommend Jason and Cory. Jason was my attorney after I caught my ex-husband having an affair. I personally knew Cory McConnell, Jasons Law partner and he referred me to Jason to keep things unbiased. Jason jumped right in and within days had all the necessary paperwork filed. Jason was prof...essional, responsive, explained everything to me in detail on a level that I could understand and at the end of my divorce I walked away with everything. Having your whole world turned upside down in a matter of seconds, knowing your future will never be the same, it’s nice to have an attorney on your side that navigates you through the process, so when you come out on the other end you feel that you have the strength and building blocks to move on.

TESTED AND PROVEN FAMILY ATTORNEY!

Jason has represented me in regards to my marital dissolution and other family matters since September of 2018. I could not have found better representation than Christmann and McConnell, LLP. Despite the other half of my case being very uncooperative and requesting outrageous settlement terms for ...a marriage that lasted approximately 12 months, Jason remained professional, collected and informative thus providing me with facts and fair recommendations. He was always very good about keeping me up to date as soon as new circumstances/terms arose throughout my case. In addition, Jason always found the most economically productive plan of action in order to keep costs down for his client. I’ve heard stories of attorneys really eating away at their client’s retainers, however I experienced the exact opposite. In the end, Jason made sure emotions remained settled and always seemed to be on the same page as me in regards to what terms to offer. Remaining persistent to offer only what was fair, we were able to encourage my to ex just walk away due to all the windfalls she would be entitled to and we are finally drafting the final settlement. I wouldn’t say that the circumstances of requiring Jason’s representation were ideal, but it was truly a pleasure to have the support of a tested and proven family attorney. I won’t be needing his services again, haha, but I do recommend his firm in the event that you do. A huge thank you goes out to Jason and his firm!

Out over $15k-poor representation-disabled vet now going to trial in pro per

I will start by saying Jason is a nice guy and if you want a lawyer for a clean cut case to process your paperwork and give you advice, he might be good for you but if you need someone who is going to go to bat for you, stand up against other attorneys, believe in you, fight for you, stand behind you..., and help with a messy divorce I advice you against him. He in my opinion is not a fighter and probably shouldn't be in family law. he lacks bedside manners. I spend $15k for basically him to get documents from opposing party, an 8 hour deposition on me, fruitless and worthless mediation. TO this date I don't think he looked and reviewed them. He told me I could come down and go through the stuff to see if I thought there was something that could help. My ex left a ton of stuff at the house for over 2 years now and I kept asking Jason to get them to pick up the stuff and he would just say, well....his name is still on the house so you technically can't get rid of it and have to store it. The other attorney was vicious, they harassed me, wrote lengthy harassing letters, provided false statements, and basically took charge of every hearing. My ex kept changing my address on my vehicle (3x) and home tax records, I couldn't get my disabled veteran plates because he kept changing my address. WhenI finally changed the title to just my name so he would stop, at the recommendation of DMV, Jason "slapped my hand" ad said, you legally weren't supposed to do that. When I showed Jason all the proof he said there was really nothing he could do, and after me pushing he wrote his attorney and they came back with...OH SHE probably did all this to make him look bad and he was supposed to subpoena documents from DMV, never did. He went back and forth with them over taxes for 6 months which I was left paying the whole bill and nothing got resolved.- another $1800 in costs for emails. I showed Jason one piece of evidence after another of harassment and false statements and always told me, you are not going to get sanctions, you aren't going to get a restraining order, don't bother trying. When I kept mentioning abuse and that I had got a temp restraining order and had pictures of a ton of bruises, he just said....well, you DIDN'T get it made permanent did you? (because he was a cop) so you can't do anything, it doesn't matter now. I had him go to a ex parte hearing to get extension for upcoming urgent surgery, judge dismissed him, I paid $800 for nothing. I spent thousands just for him to read my crazy ex and his attorneys emails and letters and talk to him on the phone about the same issues over and over and over. We went to a deposition and he didn't say 50 words the entire 8 hours. he let them gruel me with ridiculous non-pertinent questions...another $4 - 5K for nothing. Then went to mediation and he did not fight for me or negotiate at all and tried to get me to take 10% and give him 90%. When we discussed that he had tricked his elderly mother out of all this money and she tried to sue him, which I consider very telling of his character, Jason would just tell me that it doesn't matter and we can't say anything in court about it. Then we present a very generous settlement offer and he believes everything the other attorney says and convinces me to let them come to the house and see it, the condition, and take photos. he doesn't show up first time (ex). Then his attorney and him show up and see the house. Then Jason tries to convince me (after my ex owes me thousands and thousands of dollars for health insurance premiums, taxes, retirement contributions, unpaid bills he left me with) to pay for half of an appraisal for the house I am going to give him. I refused and finally let him go. I told him that they are not sincere, they are playing games with us and I was right. went to court and the other party denied there was even talk of a settlement. I needed a lawyer who could stand up to someone cunning and unscrupulous.
