If want to work while physically present on US soil, remotely or otherwise, you'll need employment authorization. Period.
I was served papers today from an attorney representing Bank of America, these documents are dated Oct 03, 2019 almost a year

It will be rejected if submitted without the I-944 and all supporting documents pertaining thereto.

Most definitely "yes" either way. An LLC does not have any "immigration status."
