Caveat emptor (buyer beware)
Stan sues his own clients. He plays games to benefit himself and help himself to your assets. He is hard to pin down because he can be a knowledgeable lawyer. It is just to bad that he has not been disciplined from any of the clients who have taken him to the bar. Yes, he is that slick. If only he wo...

Sues his own clients instead of working their cases
Look him up for yourself under San Diego Superior Court system. There are pages and pages of him suing his own clients (civil; all San Diego). Also look at his Google reviews. We're not all warning you for no reason. He frequently lied to me and when I moved correspondence to email, he used my words ...

Do not hire!
Stan knows the law, but he does not listen to his clients. I 100% agree with the other person who said not to hire this attorney. And since Stan has been a member of the bar, good luck getting your money or life back.

DO NOT HIRE STAN BACINETT UNLESS YOU WANT TO PAY FOR HIS FAMILY TO GO ON VACATION.
Where do I begin? Let's try to make a long, painful story, short; my husband and I filed for divorce. My husband filed with the court, and hired an attorney right away. I was leary of hiring an attorney, because I didn't want to have to waste thousands of dollars. Too late. $6K later, I was awa...
These comments do not reflect how we represented this client. We advocated the client's position and the Court did not agree to use the Mother's part time employment, but used her historical earnings. Child Support and Spousal Support are based upon Husband's income, Wife's income, and timeshare with the children. Sometimes during a marriage, a spouse may not work or only work part time. Some people feel entitled to maintain this practice during a divorce and want the Court to base support on their reduced earnings. The other side will contend that the spouse is under employed and should be imputed income he/she was previously earning. In California, each parent is obligated to support their children to the best of their ability. Each spouse is obligated to use their best efforts to become self supporting. Sometimes the Court's will not accept your reduced earnings because of a history of higher earnings. In this case, this client was imputed income based upon her history of working full time. The client had a history of higher earnings than what she earned at the time. The client did not think this was fair and she blamed the Court's decision on her attorney. This decision happened at the very start of the case. This attorney advocated the Client's position and the Court did not agree with the Client's claim she should be able to only work part time. This firm never charges for driving to a court hearing, ever. This client's case was handled professionally.

Best Divorce Attorney
Getting a divorce is a horrible experience. During the process, it is very difficult to make decisions with all the impact on your life, your kids, and all the stress and anxiety. Stan handled my divorce and he fought hard for a great outcome. He was prepared and guided me at every point.
