Dan White was represented to me to be an exceptional malpractice defense attorney. His advice to stall my former client's new attorney and just provide him his file - because Dan was certain my former client had blown the statute - got me not only sued by my former client but also got the State Bar ...involved. Eventually the lawsuit resulted in a walk away and the State Bar concluded nothing inapropriate had occured in my representation of my former client BUT Dan and his firm walked away with more than $30,000 of claimed fees albeit never having to file a responsive pleading in the matter. Dan even ended up billing me for he cost of the salad he ate in his office while he talked to me about my case - TWICE !
