Caitlin handled my case poorly. She must have needed to pay her rent or mortgage. I believe the 1 star review left by Ben. She pretended to be my friend and now I look back, she just scammed me by over charging for every syllable that come out of my mouth. It is so sad that she stumbled over her word...s so many times in front of the judge.

Caitlin was the most inexperienced “professional” I have ever met. She had no idea what she was doing. I asked her for legal recommendations, and she would simply agree with whatever I suggested. I had no confidence in anything she did. I married my 26-year-old girlfriend (after almost 5 years of... being together) during Covid, so she could have full coverage health insurance, since it expires when you turn 26. We wanted to have a big wedding with our families, and that wasn’t allowed in 2020. I begged my girlfriend to continue going to her psychiatrist appointments so she could fill her medications, and she would not book an appointment. So, we got divorced after 3 months during Covid and she got a good lawyer, thanks to her wealthy father. He spent $20-30k and forced me to waste the same amount of money, when we could have annulled the marriage for next to nothing. It was less than 90 days. Either way, Caitlin was the worst lawyer, or for that matter, person.. when it came to advice, counseling, strategy, or even just simple planning for the next meeting with the opposing party. She was hopeless. It would have ended better if I represented myself. When we parted ways, I suggested to her that she should do anything else on earth, except continue practicing law for the sake of everyone. I pray every day she heeded my advice.

I can not say enough positive things about Caitlin. Let me start by saying that I had hired another firm for an out of state move away request by my sons mom. I met with the head of the firm and was promised a team approach to the preparation of the case and what I received in preparation was the f...irms assistant attorney. I was not in good hands. He had no plan in place and the attorney I hired was no where to be found. This is a very stressful time in a persons life. The fear of losing a child , responding to false declarations by the other party and the financial strain is a life altering event. Compound that with inept representation and it is very unsettling. I felt helpless and scared of what was to follow. The one positive I can say regarding my representation is that when I informed them that they were no longer representing me, they referred Caitlin Steele. During my initial phone call and initial consultation with Ms. Steele, I knew I was in good hands. She immediately came up with a plan based on the facts presented to her and was hired. Caitlin is very smart, driven, knowledgeable, compassionate and fierce when she needs to be. She has a tireless approach to seeking the truth and presenting the facts. She has been around long enough to ask the right people for insight if she needs help. I dealt with her the entire way. From the initial meeting to our days in court it was a pleasure and comfort to have her by my side. Caitlin is truly amazing.
