We hired Britney Malpiede to prepare and litigate in Family Court on two occasions. If you are involved in a family law case I couldn’t stress the importance of a good lawyer enough. Ms. M did her best to start divorce proceedings with my separation. At times, she may have been a bit overwhelmed with this new field of hers, but she is in a good office where other veterans step up if needed. Her major error, I thought was to prematurely lock out retirement funds with no notice, a ...move which when (appropriately) rescinded, cost me more in fees for her time. I never completed my proceedings with her due to expense (had to go pro per,) but I think overall she did a good job, dealing with us both!
