Brit is a member of the California Bar and admitted to practice law in the Federal District Courts of the Southern District of California. She received her Juris Doctor degree from California Western School of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, in Sociology at Colorado State University.
During law school she was on the Dean’s List, received an Award for Academic Excellence, and other recognitions. Brit is a member of the San Diego County Bar Association, the San Diego Family Law Bar Association, and Lawyers Club of San Diego. She received the State Bar of California’s Wiley W. Manuel Award for Pro Bono Services three years. Her favored pro bono organizations are San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program, and Casa Cornelia Law Center.
