Biography
Ms. Kurlander joined Bender & Gritz in 1999, and is a partner to the firm. She is the only attorney in our office that handles both personal injury and worker's compensation cases. She has litigated several civil cases including motor vehicle collisions, construction accidents and wrongful death matters to a successful conclusion. She's settled hundreds of cases in a favorable manner. In the worker's compensation arena she has successfully tried many cases before the Worker's Compensation Appeals Board.
Ms. Kurlander is especially effective at handling personal injury cases that arise from work injuries, and has exhibited exceptional skill at maximizing the client's recovery in these dual jurisdiction cases.
She is admitted to the Supreme Court of the State of California and the South United States District Court and she is a member of the Consumer Attorneys of California, The Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, The Consumer Attorneys of San Diego and the San Diego County Bar Association.
