I had met with a few attorneys prior to meeting Aline and her partner, the other attorneys seemed less interested in my actual case and were going to take my case no matter whether they seemed to think they would actually win. When I met Aline, I was thoroughly interviewed about my Disability and she and her partner discussed it before accepting my case, telling me that they only took cases they believed they could win. This really impressed me and gave me the confidence that she would work hard on my case to fight for me.
My case lasted almost three years, and Aline was with me every step of the way insuring that I met all my deadlines and gave me realistic expectations as Sri what was coming next, even if it wasn't what I wanted to hear, she was correct every time! I really appreciated her professionalism and patience with me along the way. It has been a long path, but she gave me all the tools I needed to get through this and the court all of the detailed information of my complicated case they needed to finally approve me!! Aline was fantastic to work with and I would recommend her to anyone I know in my situation.

Aline help me win my case. I tried to go it alone but didn't realize the extent that needed to be done. Aline walked me through each process. Aline got all the proper paperwork to the Judge before my hearing date which helped him with the facts of my case before I even seen him. Very helpful with all my concerns. Would recommend her highly.

Ms. Gabba represented me in my Social Security Disability Insurance case and she did a great job. I interviewed five Lawyers and worked with two before I ultimately chose her. I was super nervous and anxious when we went to the hearing with the Administrative Law Judge. But she he was very prepared and she laid out my case comprehensively and with confidence. The Doctor from Social Security was there (by phone) and it was obvious he had not studied the case very well. She successfully corrected him at least four times and pushed back assertively when he tried to marginalize my medical problems.
The Judge even told her she had done a good job representing me which was a surprise.
We won my case right on the spot!
In retrospect it’s clear she had been doing everything possible to create this outcome. She told me everything that I needed to do and I did it. Also, I told her a bunch of stuff that was, for the most part, not relevant to my case, yet she was very patient with me. I RECOMMEND HER!

By the time we contacted Aline's office for help my mother's SSDI application had been denied twice, although she has been diagnosed with a number of debilitating diseases in recent years which were all well documented as part of her applications.
Aline setup a meeting with us right away and handled my mother's application with great care from the day she accepted her case. She kept us informed throughout the appeal process and was able to get my mother's case approved without us having to go to a hearing in front of judge.
I would highly recommend Aline and her team to anyone who needs assistance with SSDI approval process.

I met with Aline Gaba, from the San Diego Disability Law Group, after two denial letters from Social Security for my Crohns disease and depression that was preventing me from working. At first I was reluctant on hiring a lawyer because I thought that I had no chance, considering two denials due to my young age (32 years old and education level). However, after getting medically retired from the navy and constantly missing work and numerous counseling from supervisors for my absences, which also lead to close terminations, it was recommended by my doctors that I continue fighting for disability. I scheduled my appointment and was interviewed by Ms. Gaba and her colleague Mr. Heppner. After telling them my story, I definitely knew that they were very competent dealing with medical issues. I didn't have to explain what my disease was nor any of my secondary diagnosis because they were already familiar with it as well as the symptoms that is associated with the disease. After they determined that my case is definitely worth pursuing, they explained to me how the appeals process works. Everything handed to me was easy to understand and if I had questions, it was easy to contact them by phone or e-mail. Ms. Gaba would always answer my e-mails in a timely manner, usually within 24-48 hours. Even though the appeal process is a lengthy process, they kept me up to date which helped to put me at ease. I did talk to a couple disability lawyers and looked at a couple reviews online before meeting with Ms. Gaba and Mr. Heppner. But none of them gave me the confidence that had when I spoke with Ms. Gaba and Mr. Heppner. I am glad that I made the choice to go with their law group.

I became disabled and applied for permanent disability when I was 18. Filling out the paperwork myself, I was denied twice. I made the decision to hire a lawyer to help, and found Ms. Gaba. She handled my case quickly and professionally. She kept me informed of everything that was going on and what our next steps were. She handled all paperwork; I only had to request the records from my doctors and show up at my scheduled hearing. We met before the hearing and she told me what kinds of questions to expect. The hearing itself went very smoothly and I was given a favorable verdict. I do not think that would have happened if it wasn't for Ms. Gaba. Everything was handled quickly an, professionally, and ethically. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a disability lawyer!

I called three firms that did not have the confidence or knowledge to take on my disability case before thankfully one of the firms that had rejected me referred me to San Diego Disability Law Group. Without that referral, I am certain that I would have ben forced to either take on my case alone or with sub-par counsel. I do not believe that should that have been the case that I would have been awarded a fully favorable decision. Ms. Gaba was awesome at my hearing. We're not well; we're not used to being in that situation, that's why you need someone who is competent and on your side 100%. Even now, as our necessity for direct communication has lessened, Ms. Gaba is still always just a phone call away. You deserve to have that kind of peace of mind throughout the entire application process and beyond and I highly recommend that you trust the San Diego Disability Law Group to do that for you.

I had a complicated remand case that was difficult from the beginning. After losing my hearing with another lawyer, Ms. Gaba was willing to take over and passionately fought for my case because she believed in it. I don't think I would have won my case with another lawyer.
