I have now been practicing for over 25 years! It's hard to comprehend all that time going by so quickly. I am a member of both the State of California and Federal Bars for Southern and Central Districts.
I practiced the first 12 years in medium sized civil defense firms headquartered in San Diego and Los Angeles. I practiced primarily in more complex cases working in products liability, industrial injuries, business disputes including intellectual property rights, employment cases, professional liability for therapists and medical technicians, real estate disputes and defending not for profit corporations and its board members in all sorts of cases. Those ranged from HOA type cases, employment harassment, and intellectual property to multimillion dollar contracts and embezzlement.
With my background, well suited to start my own practice, I opened my doors around 2000. I still worked a few cases for my prior employer, Murchison & Cumming, LLP until those matters were tried. I worked with the late Mark Lane on several regional cases as local counsel. He always said that the most important thing an attorney does is counsel appropriately. I agree wholeheartedly with that statement. With my undergraduate training in psychology at UCLA and my genuine appreciation for people, I will listen first, counsel and litigate as appropriate.
My practice now involves all disciplines of civil disputes in litigation. I routinely represent companies and individuals in a variety of matters, including all types of contractual disputes including employment, civil rights, real property including ADA, intellectual property, copyright and trademark infringement, defamation/trade libel, tortious interference with contracts, fraud, and quasi criminal civil defense. I also handle serious personal injury cases and administrative claims in education for students and teachers. Lastly I represent coastal owners with property issues concerning the CCC and the local agencies.
I provide a fee structure which is well suited for individuals and businesses who have had to endure big firm billing practices. i have worked with my "of counsel" William Warldow, since 2003 who is specialized in research and writing. Together with my assistant we have a strong team who handles only a limited number of cases so we can offer personal attention and the utmost professional services.
I have volunteered as Judge Pro Tem for the Superior Court from about 1996-2010. I have served on the Board for the Bar Association of North San Diego County for the full term of three years serving as vice president the last year. I am still currently on the Board for Seacoast Preservation Association a property rights and coastal preservation group.
I am married to William Snyder, also a litigator. We live in San Diego County and are currently happy empty nesters. My hobbies include snow skiing, hiking, cooking, music, and working with animals.

Employment and Intellectual Property (IP)
Jennifer is great with employment law, intellectual property, and competition. She defended us against three large law firms in a jury trial. Her professionalism, sense of humor, and expertise kept us moving forward and winning our case against the plaintiff who had hired three large law firms.
