Erik Christian Jenkins

Erik Jenkins and April Hu did an excellent job of representing me in my child custody case. They were aggressive in their litigation with the petitioner and her counsel and made decisions that were in the best interests of my family and my child resulting in a 50/50 custody schedule. Previous judges ...and our mediator had made my path to extend visitation with my child very difficult and the representation I had had in the past was not the caliber that was necessary to see through the deceit of the petitioner and her attorney. Erik and April were able to navigate through the conflict and the result was increased time with my child. Everyone I interacted with in Erik’s office responded promptly to my questions and my concerns. I highly recommend them if you are looking for a trustworthy practice that is highly knowledgeable of the law and will be committed to your needs.

I wish I had hired Mr. Jenkins since the beginning of my custody case. He is very knowledgeable in family law and will handle your case as a priority. He always calls, emails and text back when needed, has always kept me informed of my case and always prepared and filed documents on time. Erik was the third lawyer I have hired since my separation in late 2013. Working with Erik gave me a clear demonstration of how this process should have been going the whole time. He took the time to listen to and evaluate my concerns, gave me options regarding what my legal actions could be, and de...livered exactly what he promised. With the same judge hearing the motion and my ex-spouse using the same tactics that had worked favorably for them in previous hearings, Erik and his team delivered a MUCH different result and for the first time since this process started I left the hearing without a feeling that my attorney could have done more for me. I should mention that Erik demonstrates a "business like ruthlessness" in court that the judge seemed to respect and I certainly appreciated. Finally, I need to note how incredibly responsive Team Jenkins was during the lead up and the day of the hearing. Multiple times I contacted them to alter my motion and get opinions on what to do or how to proceed. I was always made to feel like a priority. This was not my experience with previous attorneys. If you choose to go with Erik and his team for your divorce, you will get the best result the law allows.

Attorney Erik Jenkins is a pillar of strength, steadfast countenance & wisdom AND this makes him very intimidating... Hearing him talk has literally made the hair on the back of my neck stand up... He is very intelligent, an excellent listener and purposeful; in addition, both he and his staff w...ork efficiently and effectively. In the past, when an attorney wasn't available I was literally left stranded. Not the case with Erik! If he isn't able to meet, he has several options: phone conference, speak with another attorney on his team or speak with his paralegal. You are never left abandoned. Communication between the team is excellent too, btw. He literally squashed a malicious TRO from opposing counsel (within 2 hours) and protected my son from ongoing harm. No other attorney had done so before. If you want the best outcome, long term solutions and wise counsel, Attorney JENKINS is the best! Our family is extremely grateful to him and we all still reap the benefits of his work.

I hired Jenkins because he was referred to me by a friend . This review is my opinion only. Jenkins was good at one thing and that was excessive billing me for his work. He once told me that he had 40 clients that he was representing. Yet he had no paralegals 50% of the time helping him. So figure it... out how does he get to that many clients just working by himself and his office staff. He had no time for me because I was a small player out of all the people that pay a lot of money. My mediation was a disaster. He was unprepared. He should've did a financial audit for my assets, and he didn't. We got taken to the cleaners because of his inability to be prepared. I would never recommend hiring this person to represent anybody that loves their children or wants to keep their assets.
