1.0 star rating 4/18/2017 I wish I could give less than 1 star. I have been working with the firm in Escondido. They are awful. I had to make payments because they are charging me more than 5k for my bankruptcy. That in and of itself is ridiculous, but by the time I looked more into it, I had paid a... substantial amount to them and couldn't get it back. I did NOT have a payment plan with them, I called each month to make a payment. One day I checked my account and they had made an UNAUTHORIZED payment. I called and asked about it and they said they made a mistake and would credit me back. They never did. I told them to TAKE MY CARD NUMBER OFF FILE and they said they would. I checked my account today and not one but TWO charges that were unauthorized were made on my checking account! I just called and they said it was a mistake and would credit me back. THIS IS FRAUD! THIS SHOULD BE AGAINST THE LAW. I have no payment plan with this company and they virtually stole money because they have my acct number! I called my bank and filed charges, now I have to call any company I have automatic debits with and reset everything up. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I am supposed to trust this company with my bankruptcy? They are absolutely AWFUL. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not go through them.

Although there are MANY bankruptcy attorneys with lower fees, we went with Doan Law primarily due to their promise to aggressively seek damages from any creditor who violates their Cease and Desist Order in violation of Bankruptcy Law. However, DON'T believe their promises - they are HOLLOW! We had o...ne creditor who demanded payment of a debt that had been included in our bankruptcy FIVE TIMES over a FIVE MONTH period of time, AFTER they acknowledged receipt of a Cease and Desist order, but after over a DOZEN calls, letters, and emails, Doan REFUSED to take ANY action at all against this creditor! If you're shopping for a bankruptcy attorney, I recommend that you move on and KEEP LOOKING!
