Ms. Medina represented me in a difficult divorce that ended recently. Ms. Medina has many attributes as an outstanding family law attorney. Her most important attribute is that she is extremely trustworthy. All through the process of negotiations with opposing counsel, I felt like I was in good ha...nds, and that she was constantly and genuinely watching out for my best interests. I never felt like she was in any way contributing to protracting the case. In contrast, I felt that she was doing everything possible to resolve the matter as quickly as possible, but with a fair and balanced approach. In the process, she came up with several creative solutions to difficult circumstances that arose. She was very responsive, and her main focus was to resolve disagreements as efficiently and expeditiously as possible, but without sacrificing my rights and legitimate demands. When it came to dealing with opposing counsel, she was very firm, but without being confrontational. She refrained from writing inflammatory letters every time my ex-wife crossed the line with her behavior or that of her family members. When it came down to the wire however, such as going in front of a judge, she was extremely knowledgeable and well-prepared, and she was vigorous in defending my rights using solid evidence as opposed to empty rhetoric. During my interactions with Ms. Medina, she was extremely pleasant to talk to, and she had a very calming demeanor. I felt that she truly cared about my difficult predicament. She was very good at actively listening and analyzing what I had to say before passing judgment or making suggestions. As a client, I felt that on the one hand, she was an excellent advocate for my rights and demands, but on the other hand, she was very good at reigning me in and exercising good client control when she felt I was being unreasonable. All in all, I believe Ms. Medina is an outstanding family law attorney. I recommend her, without hesitation, to any honest person going through a difficult divorce.
