I had a dispute with the San Diego school district for non payment.
I reached out to Danielle and explained my issues.
She broke down and explained the process very clearly on what it takes to file suite with the school district and the time line.
She always keep me informed along the way and was very accessible. Best of all we had a very positive outcome.
Danielle is easy to work and talk with. This makes a bad situation

My husband was in business for himself and had used approximately half a dozen attorneys in his 40+year career. He was skeptical about hiring Danielle but we did and she not only got us what we wanted, she did so in an unprecedented amount of time and she was very reasonably priced! We would use her again in a flash. Thank you Danielle for a job well done! And may God bless you always!

She helped me through a very difficult mess, understood completely what we were dealing with and came through positively with our case.

She offers 30mins free preliminary consultation to see if she can help. First she said would call me, then never called me. I called her and she didn't even apologize. But That's ok. We talked for about 10min. I asked the questions I had and explained my situation. Then all the sudden she went all rude on me saying she is busy and she has other pay work to do that she had no time to cont the conversation, etc. I mean, if you don't want spend 30 mins of your time consulting and screening for a potential client, just don't offer the free consultation service.

Danielle is a wonderful lawyer. Her website drew me to her, because it is clear that she is an expert with HOAs. She graciously gave of her time during my free consultation and her expertise, combined with logical suggestions and kindness made her the perfect choice to handle my case. I interviewed 3 different attorneys and none of them were as responsive or as well versed in HOA law as Danielle. My case was settled quickly and efficiently, because of her help. I recommend her with total confidence.

Danielle helped me fight my HOA when they didn’t want to pay for mold remediation work caused by their negligence. I called several attorneys to get opinions and when I spoke to Danielle for the first time I immediately knew she was what I needed. She is fiery, aggressive, and extremely fair - exactly what you need in an attorney. Her response time is always so immediate and she just went above and beyond. Thanks to her, my HOA agreed to completely reimburse me for exactly the amount I asked for, plus, she got them to agree to pay for additional remediation work. I could not have done this without her. I highly recommend working with her - you won’t be disappointed!

We live on the US east coast and very fortunate to have found Danielle Wakefield to assist in recovering in excess of $20,000 from a service provider who required pre-payment for services never rendered. Her retainer was very reasonable and she recovered far more than we had believed possible. She refunded more than two-thirds of the unused retainer fee. Amazing!

If you have a legal problem with an HOA in Southern California, you'd be crazy not to consult Danielle. She is a specialist in HOA law, and it is no exaggeration to say that if I'd hired her in the first place, I'd have paid out half of what I ultimately did. It's clear that once I got rid of the original attorney and hired Danielle, the HOA's attorney started treating us with respect, because they know her reputation. Danielle is a no-nonsense, highly efficient attorney. She told me where I stood, and made a quick favorable settlement--exactly as she said she would. She even returned more than 10 percent of the modest retainer she'd asked for. Her overhead is also low, which is reflected in her billing rate.
From this case I learned the importance of hiring an attorney who is truly experienced in the area of law you're dealing with. When my then 85-year-old-mother was sued by her HOA for back assessments, piling on the late fees and attorney's fees, I went cheap and set her up with free legal services from a pro-bono law firm. What a mistake! What a disaster! They didn't know HOA law, and they kept this thing going for more than a year with pointless discoveries, racking up the HOA attorney fees. If I had not hired Danielle when I did, god knows how much this would have cost me. I wish I'd know about her in the beginning.

Danielle helped me to solve an issue with my HOA. The HOA was restricting the type of flooring that I could put into my CONDO for noise reasons, despite the fact that I submitted full engineering studies that demonstrated noise levels would GO DOWN with my new flooring and soundproofing. I struggled for years with no success in getting approval from the HOA. With one letter from Danielle where she cited case law appropriate for my request; The HOA immediately approved my request. Danielle is the most knowledgeable person I have ever worked with on HOA issues. I would give her a 10 star rating if I could!

Danielle expertly assisted me with a messy contractor dispute (sub-standard workmanship) that I had been unable to resolve on my own. Once I retained her, all it took was a demand letter and it was settled fairly, literally within days. She is very honest and I even got a nice refund from my initial retainer. She also didn’t charge me for my initial phone consultation.
Fast, honest, and professional! If I could give more than 5 stars I would.
