I am an attorney, and when I needed an attorney to defend me and my family against an unlawful eviction I was incredibly lucky to find Danielle Wakefield! When the home we were leasing was sold in a foreclosure sale, the new owner immediately began a campaign to intimidate us into leaving so he could... flip the house. Initially I was able to ignore and deflect the landlord’s many attempts to get rid of us, but when he attempted to cancel our lease and brought a fraudulent unlawful detainer action against us I knew I was in over my head. Over the last two years I am sure that I have gotten on Danielle’s last nerve more than a few times with my constant questions and unsolicited legal theories, but she has remained professional and steadfast throughout the entire process. She made us aware of our rights, walked us through every step and became the voice for us, that we really needed!! I hired this lawyer for a complex litigation. After losing a hearing and sanctions award, she requested to drop the case. This request was in writing, and I replied in kind that it would not be easy to find new counsel so late in the process. She then proceeded to abandon the case, and withdraw at a ...very late point in the litigation. It was not feasible to find new counsel at this time and I was forced to abandon my claims. Find a lawyer that will not quit your case when the going gets tough. I highly recommend you find another lawyer and avoid hiring Danielle, especially if you have a serious matter. I wish I never hired her and it has cost me dearly.
