I don't like paying high fees for simple things like the drafting of a Certificate of Organization (also known as Articles of Organization in certain states), LLC Operating Agreements, or IDGT (intentially defective grantor trust) documents. I like to buy the James Publishing attorney books (complet...e with sample draft language) and do it myself. But, the problem has been that most attorneys want to charge a flat-rate to "review" my documents - which also means they want to use theirs and charge me from scratch. That all changed after I found Andrew... he was more than willing to work with me, at an hourly rate. As a result, I have drafted four LLC operating agreements with him (including a series LLC) and am in the process of drafting my irrevocable inter-vivos dynasty (GST exempt) trust with his as well.
