Ms. Franks was very kind from day one. Our situation was emotional and difficult and we had no idea what the "Probate" process was .... Mariam Ms. Franks paralegal works extremely hard to keep up with Ms. Franks as its a busy office. But the most beautiful office I have ever seen! Breathtaking Views...
Estate and trust administration. When a loved one dies and the estate needs to be settled, please call our office to walk you through this complex and often confusing process.
Our office drafts personalized, comprehensive, integrated estate plans-- from the basic, simple will and trust to complex charitable, life insurance, and special needs trusts.
We handled contested trust administrations, will contests, guardianship and conservatorship litigation. When possible we strive to handle your legal estate issues through alternate dispute resolution to preserve families and minimize costs.
We work with small business owners in the formation of the proper entity. Each client has unique needs, and we tailor by-laws and operating agreements to fit your specific business requirements.
Ms. Franks has comprehensive experience in estate planning and business planning as well as litigation involving senior placement and caring, and estate and trust disputes. Her motto is "proper planning is always less costly than litigation". It is Miranda's philosophy that planning for the future, and continually being aware of the status of your estate and business assets are the best way to avoid litigation and unintended distributions of wealth.
Miranda received her Batchelor of Arts in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her law degree from Thomas Jefferson Law School. She has received credentials as a certified mediator, and when applicable seeks to provide solutions to contested matters through alternate dispute resolution methods. Miranda is actively involved in educational programs within the San Diego legal community, and is regularly invited to speak at seminars on the subject of estate planning and probate.
Ms. Franks was born and raised in Southern California, and has lived here most of her life. She resides in Rancho San Diego with her son Dylan and three cats, Cecily, Mango and Nacho.

A conscientious, excellent attorney!
We had Miranda so our revocable living trust, and were impressed with her knowledge and her skills. Our situation was a little complex, and Miranda was competent and paid attention to every little detail. She is wonderful and I would not hesitate to have her take care of all our attorney needs!

Honest, sincere and friendly
Miranda is wonderful. My wife and I set up a trust to protect our family and our assets. Miranda explained all of the ins and outs and we are now fully informed and we also enjoy peace of mind knowing that our children will be taken care of if something happens to us. Miranda is also knowledgeable about estate taxes and explained how we can maximize the amount of money we will leave behind. I will continue to refer my friends to Miranda and her professional staff.

Wish all attorneys were like her
I have never met an attorney that is so willing to sit down one on one go over everything in detail and treats you with respect and not another name and number passing through. My father died and it was a very hard time and so many questions on what to do. She was there.
