Ms. Franks has comprehensive experience in estate planning and business planning as well as litigation involving senior placement and caring, and estate and trust disputes. Her motto is "proper planning is always less costly than litigation". It is Miranda's philosophy that planning for the future, and continually being aware of the status of your estate and business assets are the best way to avoid litigation and unintended distributions of wealth.
Miranda received her Batchelor of Arts in English from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and her law degree from Thomas Jefferson Law School. She has received credentials as a certified mediator, and when applicable seeks to provide solutions to contested matters through alternate dispute resolution methods. Miranda is actively involved in educational programs within the San Diego legal community, and is regularly invited to speak at seminars on the subject of estate planning and probate.
Ms. Franks was born and raised in Southern California, and has lived here most of her life. She resides in Rancho San Diego with her son Dylan and three cats, Cecily, Mango and Nacho.

Honest, sincere and friendly
Miranda is wonderful. My wife and I set up a trust to protect our family and our assets. Miranda explained all of the ins and outs and we are now fully informed and we also enjoy peace of mind knowing that our children will be taken care of if something happens to us. Miranda is also knowledgeable...
"Miranda Franks is a great attorney. Not only is she extremely qualified as an estate planner and a litigator, but she regularly participates in pro bono work which benefits our community."
