Roberts graduated from Scripps College for Women with a degree in Music and an emphasis in vocal performance. Roberts earned her J.D. Cum Laude from Thomas Jefferson School of Law, where she was a Notes Editor of the Thomas Jefferson Law Review. She is licensed to practice in California and the U.S. District Court for the Central and Southern Districts of California.
