Philip Henri Dyson

For the past 30 years, my legal career has been focused solely on civil litigation. From the time I interned as a law student conducting trials (with Brad Unkeless, who later became chief trial counsel for Hartford Insurance) to the present. After graduating law school, I opened up my own law office in San Diego. Since 1983, my associates and I have been practicing from my current office, located in La Mesa.   At the Law Office of Philip Dyson, we do not shy away from aggressively litigating our client’s positions. Our preparation plus unwavering persistence we bring to our work delivers both the value and results clients expect from their attorneys.   I have represented clients in hundreds of trials and arbitrations to both verdict and judgment, in a wide range of areas in both State and Federal courts throughout California, as well as courts in various other states. My trial experience includes the prosecution and defense of complex matters including business and commercial torts, personal injury, contractual disputes, real estate, fraud, and intellectual property claims.   I have been a member of the State Bar of California since 1981, and prior to that was a member of the State Bar of Georgia. I received my law degree from Western State University in 1980 and my Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from San Diego State University in 1977.   I enjoy working with both my clients and those attorneys’ who refer me cases. You can count on reliable updates and timely responses to your questions and concerns.   In addition to my law related activities, I have served on the Board of Directors for several community groups to make San Diego a better place, including helping out with the San Diego Homeless Shelter during the Christmas holiday for the last ten years.
