Jeffery is all the things the previous reviews say. In my case, i got the bare minimum. He filed a "bare bones" lawsauit. When I was in court i needed an update on our case. He told me he filed and thats it. There was no court date, he didnt know what to do. I was in court on a related issue, and wanted to know what his plan was. He said he didnt know what to do ans wanted to know if my other attorneys could advise him.
The othere attourneys were keeping the eviction feom taking place. Poindexter was supposed to be sueing the bank that sold my house. A "quite title action" was what he called it. 3 months after the eviction was stayed, i called again for an update. I gave him the time and date of the next appearance. He did not show nor did he answer the call. Needless to say, wothout an update on the lawsuit, the judge thought i was just another person trying to drag out the case and get somerhing for nothing. The eviction stay was lifted and i am expecting to be thrown out of my own house in the next couple of days. If Jeffery would have shown up and told the judge ANYTHING the judgement against me, my wife and 5 kids, could have been different.
Now i need an attourney for the appeal, my other attourneys werw from the Legal Aid Society, and ive been told they are not allowed to do appeals, even on thier own cases. So i will likely need another atty. for the lawsuit against a very large bank for several violations of the Home Owners Bill of Rights. WFB has sold my house once in the past(a year ago) and gave it back when i called the governing agency. This is why i called Poindexter. So far, my house belongs to another attourney. I still need help.

Jeffrey helped us through a difficult time by providing honest, detailed information. He led, rather than pushed us to make the decision that fit our circumstances, making sure we fully understood all of the options, including the benefits and the drawbacks of every choice. He considered our age, Where we were financially and what our long and short term goals were and helped us formulate a plan we could not just live with, but do well with.
Working with Jeff has greatly improved our circumstances both quantitatively and qualitatively. Best decision we ever made!
He's knowledgable, thorough and very thoughtful- we would recommend him to any one.

Relationship: Worked together on matter
I heartily endorse this lawyer. Jeff not only demonstrates fine lawyering skills as an advocate for his clients, but also posesses fine counseling skills and effective means of communication with his clients. His integrity is without question and his courteous and thoughful approach to handling his cases and clients is to be admired and respected. I've worked with Jeff on a number of matters over the years and couldn't recommend him highly enough to someone seeking cost-effective legal services and counsel along with finely-honed skills that serve his clients and the legal system well.
