Beverly Jean Gassner

Beverly is not to be trusted with looking out for your best interests. She does what she wants to and will not follow your requests. She is only interested in racking up charges to benefit herself. I begin to keep track of the amt. of time spent in conferencing as well as telephone conversations. ... Her billing statements would always reflect additional time for each. When called in for a conference, she would discuss other cases with her staff during time that I was being billed for. She is notorious for dragging things out and saying that I said things or gave her permission to do things that I never did. Knowing for a fact that I could not afford to start over with another attorney, she used that to take advantage of me by promising that the case was coming to a close when in fact she dragged it out for two additional years. Her attitude was less than professional as she yelled at me in the hallway of the court in front of many shocked onlookers because I would not let her have her way! I regret hiring her and feel that she was a complete waste of my time and money.

At times Beverly seemed to be working for the other side. Beverly was always completely silent in court, even at times when I needed her to jump in and help. Beverly was always trying to drum up things that I didn't ask for or want apparently in an effort to drag things out for billable hours. In ...the end I ended up with the exact same thing that Family Services offered me in the beginning except with thousands of wasted dollars and extending this crazy fiasco for my poor child. Beverly, like several individuals in this "business", feed on the "system" and do not help familys or the over stressed system, at least in my case...

she was very forgetful, promised us stuff that she later denied saying, had lots of health problems that affected her work, seemed to help the other side as much as she helped us, called us in to her office for a lot of nonsense which cost us a lot of money in fees, and would rarely listen to anythin...g we said, constantly interrupting us.
