Ankit H. Bhakta

After working at prestigious law firms in Orange County and the Inland Empire for over 5 years, Ankit H. Bhakta followed his family’s entrepreneurial legacy and founded BLF to provide businessowners with high-quality, cost-effective legal representation. With a background in hospitality, he knows full well the legal needs and challenges of California businesses.

Ankit took this business background and went on to graduate from UCLA in under 4 years with a major and two minors, along with obtaining work experience as a congressional and legal intern. Ankit then graduated from USC Gould School of Law, completing certificate programs in both Business Law and Alternative Dispute Resolution. In addition to obtaining experience working directly with an esteemed district and appellate judge as a judicial extern, Ankit was selected to serve on the Mediation Clinic while at USC, drawing the praise of several judges for his success in resolving cases. In fact, Ankit received the Volunteer of the Month Award in recognition for outstanding service as a mediator for the Court program. Ankit was also selected to the Jessup Moot Court team at USC, which received an award for having one of the best Written Briefs at the regional competition held in Portland, Oregon.

Ankit passed the California Bar Exam on his first try and began practicing law and learning under prominent attorneys in Orange County and the Inland Empire. Ankit was soon working directly with one of the preeminent trial attorneys in the Inland Empire en route to an undefeated trial record and many other litigation successes.

Ankit was also nominated and selected as a SuperLawyer—Rising Star for the past three years (2021-2023). On April 1, 2022, Ankit founded Bhakta Law Firm and hopes to channel his intellect and skills to ensure that businessowners in California have access to high quality legal representation, at an affordable cost.
