Mr. Garcia is a very smart and educated in family law, but thinks he's too good. He pissed off the Judge in a RO case didn't help my defense when he's butting heads with the judge, and allowed it to go 5 days. Over billing is a common practice in this firm and charges are not explained they charged ...me 7 hours at 450 an hour to prep for a the same RO hearing and was still ill prepared at the hearing. 7 hours of prep I could have read war and peace in that time. Bill Bill Bill is this firms goal or over bill and now that they have taken on a new attorney it will only get worse I assume. Don't use this firm Mr. Garcia has been practicing so long he believes he knows more than the judges, which is dangerous. His Daughter Vanessa thinks she knows as much as her father, but is far from being seasoned she a couple of levels above an average paralegal. The new attorney Rocky don't have any idea about him. This firm does not care of your situation they will use up your retainer fast on garbage and keep charging until you can't pay enough to keep up and they will just sub out and leave you with the mess they made for you to clean up. Overall not a professional firm and have no compassion for their clients. I'm better off representing myself I couldn't do any more damage to my case than Mr. Garcia and his god complex has.

I promise it will save you a whole lot of money and time in the long run if you take my review into consi...deration. I don’t want what happened to me to happen to you. If you take the time to read all of his bad reviews from previous clients they all say the same thing. I am sure they don’t know each other, and they are all saying the same thing about him. His office replies to those reviews stating they are all false. How can all these previous clients be saying the exact same thing, in which they do not know each other. How can what they are saying all be false. That’s because they aren’t lying, This attorney is a waste of money. Mr. Garcia is unethical, in charging excessive fees. He truly does not care about his clients, and only wants their money. What Mr. Garcia is doing is legal malpractice, A type of negligence. He will not respond to you in a timely matter, and trying to communicate with him is hard you never get a hold of him. I hired Mr. Garcia in January, 2021 in 1 year and 7 months, I paid Mr. Garcia $36,956.52 in lawyer fees. I would pay my lawyer fees on time every month, when they were due in full never leaving an unpaid balance. Then In June 2022 I received my new bill for that month, I asked if I may please be put on a payment plan. For the current bill, and any future bills. He Agreed to a payment plan of $1,500 a month. I respected my payment plan and always paid the invoice on time, Then In August 2022 he simply said never mind, pay your remaining balance in full, instead of paying it as a payment plan or I will no longer represent you. With absolutely no explanation, as to why he was even doing this, especially In the middle of a ongoing trial, with a trial court date three weeks later. Again this is negligence harming his own client, Not caring what the client is going to do now in the middle of a trial, after he agrees to a payment plan and backs out of it last minute, forcing you to pay him in full or he will no longer represent you. This is extremely unethical and unprofessional, and shows he’s greed. When I needed him the most after I spent more than $36,000 in 1 year and 7 months, all of a sudden it means nothing, with absolutely no explanation. Or any wrongdoing from my part. Simply out of greed he did not want to continue the payment plan, it is disheartening when you put all that trust in a lawyer when you are already going through a difficult time in your life. He makes it worse, because there was absolutely no reason at all for him to do this. To stop the payment plan in the middle of a trial and ask for payment in full or drop me as a client . At the drop of a hat everything I had invested into Mr. Garcia meant absolutely nothing, please learn from my experience, and find a lawyer that really cares to help you. Amongst other things he’s known to be a lion in court, in the 1 year and 7 months that he was representing me in court he would be late, and one time opposing counsel even told me to shut up during trial and he did absolutely nothing about it. Everything was a complete waste of money. I wish I would have known then what I know now, and I would have chosen a better lawyer to invest my time and money in to fight for me, but unfortunately all Mr. Garcia did was take my money, and waste my time. This is why I do not want you to make the same mistake I did Mr. Garcia is unprofessional, unethical and greedy to say the least. His workers that work for him in his office know this to be true as well, however there is nothing they can do because they work for him. I’m sure he will come on here or his office will regarding my review and say the complete opposite or even accuse me of lying. What he did isn’t ok.
