I hired Tom McColl to help me during one of the most painful, dangerous, and emotionally devastating times of my life—my Domestic Violence Restraining Order (DVRO) case. What I got instead was a lazy, negative, unprepared man who took my... money and did NOTHING to help me. He showed up to court without knowing anything about my case. I paid him good money—money I didn’t have to waste as a struggling mother—but he didn’t study my file, didn’t ask meaningful questions, and worst of all, gave me zero strategy or hope. Every time I spoke to him, he was negative, discouraging, and even insulting. He acted like I was already going to lose, like my story didn’t matter, like I was a burden. How can a DV victim feel safe and confident when their own lawyer is working against them? Tom McColl is not an advocate. He is a scammer who doesn’t care about justice or your safety.
